Yesssss!

Finally! Sanity has prevailed, but a bit late.

The gray haired insiders, the millionaire power brokers, The Bad, the Stupid and The Ugly have all seen their grasp on power slip from their liver spotted hands, only AFTER they brought their own cash cow to ruin.

But there seems to be hope after all!

May the wind Gods favor you, Obama!

Is it possible...Nov 5th, 2008 - 07:22:42

To fully investigate Bush and his cronies now? Or is there some kind immunity applied by new governments to the members of the old governments. I'm thinking investigations into fictitious claims about weapons of mass destruction, going to war (and with insufficient numbers of troops) not having a proper plan for what to do after occupying a foreign country, tax cuts for the rich, spiraling deficit, the awarding of multimillion pound reconstruction and security contracts to private companies with very strong connections to members of government without proper competition from anyone else, spending billions of dollars on fear and the apparatus of fear instead of health care and education, letting the banks and finance industry put the rest of the economy in jeopardy..

Congratulations to those Americans who have seen sense and want to get back into the World community. Obama's first task will be to rectify 8 years of damage by Bush

One of the first things to be done is ungag Sibel Edmonds ,that would allow the people from the USA to have a revealing look into the miltay industrial complex,he mechanisms that allowed the neocon conspiracy to hijack the institutions and divert american policy to their own agenda. It would reveal the widespread corruption, the cronyism and most of the diseases that have plagued the american society .Under no circumstances must the GOP be able to continue to control defense ,as some of them claimed,s a token of bipartisanship.
That would cost you all tremendously.
Looking at the celebrations in the streets in the USA,the tears of joy on many faces,it reminded a lot of the liberation of europe in WW2,now it is the turn of the USA to be liberated of a burden.

It is a different person for president.

But, will he stop the hostility of:

'If a jesus-bomb hits you then you must be guilt of something'

justice?

And what of the about 50% of U.S. citizens that voted for the other person? Will SP4 and his 150 million kind be able to live in a possibly less aggressive United States?

Or will Obama turn into a preemptive jesus-bomb maniac?

And what happens when the next rogue band of mentally ill people kill in the U.S.? Will the president go crazy and start mass killing unrelated muslims again?

Rolling off of the abyss into what? It is always a crap shot, just like the stock market.

To my lovely admirer,

'When will idiots like realize that YOU are the problem?'.....I see some gramatical problems with this. Idiots like what? Did you forget a word? Idiots like Barack Obama? You left that open to interpretation. Good work. Idiot.

The voting majority of real Americans have sent a strong message.
We are so tired of the great divider and the divisive, negative, twisted politis of the so-called neocons. The neocons hijacked the Republican party at the advent of the Bush admin., and since then they have used the party as an instrument to perpetrate their bizzare ideology and dogma, rather than providing sound leadership, or making decisions that were for the benefit of our nation. They succeeded in alienating large portions of their own traditional support base, including the real fiscal conservatives, as well as other types of authentic conservatives, and progressive liberals who were the main stream Republicans in New England, the mid-Atlantic states, the upper-mid west and west coast states, and even the libertarian, least government is best, portions of the party.
It is no wonder why the Republicans lost big in this election.

If a democrat had been commander in chief when 9/11 happened, and we had stopped pursuing the enemy in their homeland, and then attacked another country instead, and squandered trillions of pretending that it was directly related to the 9/11 attack; if that had happened, then the Republicans would certainly have been charging the democrat president with treason, rather than supporting him in full like they do for Bush.
What would have Americans thought about Roosevelt in 1941-42, if after Pearl harbor he sent the armed forces to attack China instead of Japan. In both cases, WWII and 9/11, we knew what enemy had attacked us, and we knew where they came from. The neocons perverted and manipulated a simple, legitimate response to go after the terrorists into a convoluted, complicated can of worms that has no relationship to what we really should have done as actions against osama bin laden and al qaeda.
Enough real Americans understand this was a massive strategic blunder authored by the fanatic neocons pushing their own ill-devised agenda.
It is no wonder why the Republicans lost big in this election.

My family on my mother's side came to America in the 1620's. They are from conservative Scottish stock. My father's ancestors are German, coming here in the early 1800's. They were hard-working, frugal persons, morally steadfast and conservative in their ways; and their decendants are predominately this way as well. How dare these modern, smug neocons label real Americans as something other than they are, just because they don't agree with the perverted, repugnant, divisive neocon ideology?
It is no wonder why the Republicans lost big in this election.
