at the remarks made earlier when Obama went to Hawaii to visit his grandmother while she was still able to visit with him. Some said the trip was just a ploy to get voters' sympathy, etc., and that she wasn't really going to die any time soon. Well, I hope they eat their words and that they proceed to choke!

We all are going to be the ones in need of sympathy by the time he is through.

Disgusted:

As usual, the U.S. idiot citizen mucks the bottom of the cesspool.

People were bitching that he used campaign funds and a campaign plane to do it. When my dad died, I didn't ask other people to fly me out to him, I actually paid for the ticket myself.

Imagine if his grandma was near death AFTER he became president. Then he would fly a HUGE publicly funded 747 (airforce one) out on the public's dime, which is even more sick.

When will these sicko politicians stop using public funds like it is their private piggy bank. And when will the politicians' groupies stop making excuses.

You say: 'We all are going to be the ones in need of sympathy by the time he is through.'

YOU may find the word sympathy in the dictionary. It is between sh*t and syphilis, I wish both upon you.

You have, in the past, raised some good points. However, it is the opinion of all at this office that you are out of line on this particular thread. Take yourself somewhere else. That is a polite way of saying 'Go forth and multiply.' Engage in sex and travel at the same time. If that is too obscure for you let's try this: F*CK OFF.

To Mr. Obama and family, please accept our heartfelt condolences and best wishes.

Mr. 'F*CK OFF' :

What? I mentioned that my dad died. Aren't you suppose to ignore everything else and tell me about your heartfelt condolences?

Why do you give Obama that opportunity but not me?

You are simply a groupie and you can not see the bias of your own opinions.

'I mentioned that my dad died. Aren't you suppose to ignore everything else and tell me about your heartfelt condolences?'

From your attitude on this thread, I sincerely doubt you had a dad. If you did, then you just might, maybe, show a modicum of decency and compassion.
So, when did your dad die? Unfortunately it wasn't before you were born. Take your politicking and throw your crap around on other threads.

Even McCain is more human than LanceNov 4th, 2008 - 02:09:44

In a statement, McCain and his wife, Cindy, offered prayers for Obama and his family 'as they remember and celebrate the life of someone who had such a profound impact in their lives.'

'We mourn his loss and we are with him and his family today,' McCain later said at a rally in Roswell, New Mexico.

Condolences and best wishes to Mr. Obama and family

'yup, and it looks like somebody pounded him flat with that same rock.'

Hardly.

The question is and always has been: Can a politician misappropriate funds just because one of their relatives died.

The answer is still NO.

Just because McCain plays the same game with public funds does not make it right.

Politicians have NO accountability because millions of groupies will roam around like thugs beating any opponent down no matter what. That is how Bush got to spend trillions of dollars of public funds on his little private war.
