should put a leash and muzzle on that b*tch Palin. She is going to cost McCain dearly. She is probably going to cost him the election. As a matter of fact, she should be taken out behind the barn and shot like the rabid dog she is. Talk like hers may go down well in the back rooms of the party, but it doesn't sit well with the voter. It is not constructive. She has produced no ideas, no platform. She is just negative, negative, negative. After 8 solid years of negativity, it is time for a change.

Boy, you are the little beacon of positivity: 'she should be taken out behind the barn and shot like the rabid dog she is.' Gee, that is the kind of 'change' that we don't want. Indeed, that is what the Obamas brought to chicago, where it is more dangerous as a citizen then it is as an American soldier in Iraq.

McCain calls Obama a liar.Oct 7th, 2008 - 02:51:10

'My opponent has invited serious questioning by announcing a few weeks ago that he would quote — “take off the gloves.” Since then, whenever I have questioned his policies or his record, he has called me a liar.

Rather than answer his critics, Senator Obama will try to distract you from noticing that he never answers the serious and legitimate questions he has been asked. But let me reply in the plainest terms I know. I don’t need lessons about telling the truth to American people. And were I ever to need any improvement in that regard, I probably wouldn’t seek advice from a Chicago politician.

My opponent’s touchiness every time he is questioned about his record should make us only more concerned. For a guy who’s already authored two memoirs, he’s not exactly an open book. It’s as if somehow the usual rules don’t apply, and where other candidates have to explain themselves and their records, Senator Obama seems to think he is above all that. Whatever the question, whatever the issue, there’s always a back story with Senator Obama. All people want to know is: What has this man ever actually accomplished in government? What does he plan for America? In short: Who is the real Barack Obama? But ask such questions and all you get in response is another barrage of angry insults.

Our current economic crisis is a good case in point. What was his actual record in the years before the great economic crisis of our lifetimes?

This crisis started in our housing market in the form of subprime loans that were pushed on people who could not afford them. Bad mortgages were being backed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and it was only a matter of time before a contagion of unsustainable debt began to spread. This corruption was encouraged by Democrats in Congress, and abetted by Senator Obama.

Senator Obama has accused me of opposing regulation to avert this crisis. I guess he believes if a lie is big enough and repeated often enough it will be believed. But the truth is I was the one who called at the time for tighter restrictions on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that could have helped prevent this crisis from happening in the first place.

Senator Obama was silent on the regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and his Democratic allies in Congress opposed every effort to rein them in. As recently as September of last year he said that subprime loans had been, quote, “a good idea.” Well, Senator Obama, that “good idea” has now plunged this country into the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression.

To hear him talk now, you’d think he’d always opposed the dangerous practices at these institutions. But there is absolutely nothing in his record to suggest he did. He was surely familiar with the people who were creating this problem. The executives of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have advised him, and he has taken their money for his campaign. He has received more money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac than any other senator in history, with the exception of the chairman of the committee overseeing them. Did he ever talk to the executives at Fannie and Freddie about these reckless loans? Did he ever discuss with them the stronger oversight I proposed? If Senator Obama is such a champion of financial regulation, why didn’t he support these regulations that could have prevented this crisis in the first place? He won’t tell you, but you deserve an answer.'

John McCain, circulated with permissionOct 7th, 2008 - 02:52:36

...Who is the real Senator Obama? Is he the candidate who promises to cut middle class taxes, or the politician who voted to raise middle class taxes? Is he the candidate who talks about regulation or the politician who took money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and turned a blind eye as they ran our economy into a ditch?

Is he the candidate who promises change, or is he the politician who has bought into everything that is wrong with Washington? We can’t change the system with someone who’s never fought the system.

Washington is on the wrong track and I’m going to set it right. The American people know my record. They know I am going to change Washington, because I’ve done it before. They know I’m going to reform our broken institutions in Washington and on Wall Street because I’ve done it before. They know I’m going to deliver relief to the middle class, because that’s what I’ve done. '

Mud slinging McCain..........Oct 7th, 2008 - 03:07:07

This is something he said last winter he didn't agree with, that it means you don't have anything worth saying, that the public doesn't like it.........well, guess old John has had a change of heart, and he and his sidekick are slinging fast and furious. Guess that means they've run out of anything worth saying. The past dubious associations McMud has had are not exactly on the up and up, as well as the creep in Alaska who wanted that state to succeed from the U.S. who Palin's 'first dude' was in cahoots with. How about the questionable pastor who laid hands on Palin. We could go on and on, but that is all disgusting crap, and the public should want to hear about the candidates' stand on a few important issues. Just don't drag your mud up on the stage tomorrow night, Mac, or you could very well crap in your own nest.

Your 'facts' are just insaine BS.Oct 7th, 2008 - 04:58:37

'IF IM NUT CASE, THEN I QUESS IF YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK YOULL FIND OUT HOW MUCH OF A (NUT CASE) YOUR ICONS REALLY ARE..'

OK, Here we go:

'FACT: UNDER REGAN RUPUBLICAN[sic] ADMINISTRATION THE TALIBAN[sic] AND ALL-QUIDA GOT OVER TWO BILLION DOLLARS IN MILITARY AID, '

Wrong, neither the Taliban nor al Qaeda existed during the Reagan Administration, The Taliban have been Active since September 1994. The Reagan administration supported the mujahadeen which dissolved mostly into what became 'the Northern Alliance'. The Pakistani ISI and Saudi Arabia inflicted the Taliban and Al Qaeda on the world.

'FACT: ITS NO SECRET THAT THE IRAQ ARMY WOULD SEND FOR TRAINING REGULARLY PILOTS, EVEN THE FREAKING CHEMICAL WEAPONS THAT HUSAIN[sic] USED ON HIS OWN PEOPLE WERE MADE IN THE USA'

We were allied with Iraq until Saddam started gassing his own people. We supported Saddam in his fight against the Iranians, because the Iranians were/are even sh*ttier then he was. Saddam procured his chemical weapons in Europe (primarily by West Germany) not the USA. So that is WRONG.

' ALL OVER THE WORLD DIFFERENT TERRORISM ORGANISATIONS[sic] HAVE RECIEVED[sic] EXTENSIVE AID AND ASISTANCE[sic], MANY WERE EVEN CREATED BY THE CIA TO TOPPLE AND OVERTHROW GOVERMENETS[soc] IN MANY, MANY PARTS OF THE WORLD,'

The conspiracy theory is the first refuge of the weak mind. Regardless, what does this ave to do with Obama? Lets assume this was correct, which it isn't. would that make it OK for Obama to associate with terrorists who 'declared war' on the USA? Who murdered Americans?

'ALL THESE PROJECTS ARE PROJECTS IN WHICH BY HIS OWN WORDS MCCAIN SAID THAT HE HAS AN EXTESIVE[sic] RECORD IN BEEING[sic] INVOLVED IN ALL OF THEM,'

So can you produce any record of McCain claiming to be involved in giving al Qaeda 2 billion dollars, or selling Saddam gas, or giving aid to terrorist organizations all over the world? As you state: 'BY HIS OWN WORDS MCCAIN SAID THAT HE HAS AN EXTESIVE[sic] RECORD IN BEEING[sic] INVOLVED' in these crimes. Lets hear these words of his. Otherwise the only conclusion is that you are an insane idiot.

'WHO MANAGE TO BLOW A SINGLE SMALL PIPE BOMB KILLING ONE PERSON............'

He is a murdering terrorist, yet Obama got his start from him. Obama has called this man his 'friend'. Obama has received money and guidence from him. What does that tell you about Obama?

'CORRECTION..........

THERE WAS NO DEATH REPORTED IN THE BLAST..............'

Correction, you are wrong. The weather underground killed one police officer, blinded and maimed another. Tried to kill whole families and Diana Oughton, Ted Gold, and Terry Robbins were killed by their own bomb.

ABRIDGED FROM wikipedia.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weatherman_(organization)

Shortly before the demonstrations, they blew up a statue in Chicago built to commemorate police casualties incurred in the 1886 Haymarket Riot. The blast broke nearly 100 windows and scattered pieces of the statue onto the Kennedy Expressway below. The statue was rebuilt and unveiled on May 4, 1970, only to be blown up by the Weathermen a second time on October 6, 1970. The statue was rebuilt once and Mayor Richard J. Daley posted a 24-hour police guard to protect it.

Though the October 8, 1969 rally in Chicago had failed to draw as many as the Weathermen had anticipated, the two or three hundred who did attend shocked police by rioting through the affluent Gold Coast neighborhood. They smashed the windows of a bank and those of many cars. The crowd ran four blocks before encountering police barricades. [...]

The Days of Rage cost Chicago and the state of Illinois approximately $183,000 ($100,000 for National Guard expenses, $35,000 in damages, and $20,000 for one injured citizen's medical expenses). Most of the Weathermen and SDS leaders were now in jail, and the Weathermen would have to pay over $243,000 to pay for their bail...

In 1970 the group issued a 'Declaration of a State of War' against the United States government, using for the first time its new name, the 'Weather Underground Organization' (WUO), adopting fake identities, and pursuing covert activities only. These initially included preparations for a bombing of a U.S. military non-commissioned officers' dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey in what Brian Flanagan said had been intended to be 'the most horrific hit the United States government had ever suffered on its territory'.

Anti-personnel bomb set on window-ledge in San Francisco

In a bombing that took place on February 16, 1970, a pipe bomb filled with heavy metal staples and lead bullet projectiles was set off on the ledge of a window at the Park Station of the San Francisco Police Department. In the blast, Brian V. McDonnell, a police sergeant, was fatally wounded while Robert Fogarty, another police officer, received severe wounds to his face and legs and was partially blinded. [...]

An FBI informant, Larry Grathwohl, who successfully penetrated the organization from the late summer of 1969 until April 1970, later testified to a U.S. Senate subcommittee that Bill Ayers, then a high-ranking member of the organization and a member of its Central Committee (but not then Dohrn's husband), had said Dohrn constructed and planted the bomb. Grathwohl testified that Ayers had told him specifically where the bomb was placed (on a window ledge) and what kind of shrapnel was put in it. Grathwohl said Ayers was emphatic, leading Grathwohl to believe Ayers either was present during the operation or had heard about it from someone who was there.

Initial New York City Bombings

Early on the morning of February 21, 1970 as his family slept, three gasoline-filled firebombs exploded at the home of New York State Supreme Court Justice Murtagh at the northern tip of Manhattan. The same night, bombs were thrown at a police car in Manhattan and two military recruiting stations in Brooklyn.

Judge Murtagh was presiding over the trial of the so-called “Panther 21,” members of the Black Panther Party indicted in a plot to bomb New York landmarks and department stores. The side-walk in front of his home had three sentences of blood-red graffiti: 'FREE THE PANTHER 21; THE VIET CONG HAVE WON; KILL THE PIGS.'

Only a few weeks after the attack, the New York contingent of the Weathermen blew themselves up making more bombs in a Greenwich Village townhouse. The same cell had bombed Judge Murtagh's house, according to Ron Jacobs in The Way the Wind Blew: A History of the Weather Underground. In late November of 1970, a letter to the Associated Press signed by Bernardine Dohrn, now Bill Ayers's wife, promised more bombings.

On March 6, 1970, during preparations for the bombing of an officers' dance at the Fort Dix U.S. Army base and for Butler Library at Columbia University,[24] there was an explosion in a Greenwich Village safe house when the nail bomb being constructed prematurely detonated due to a wiring malfunction. WUO members Diana Oughton, Ted Gold, and Terry Robbins died in the explosion....The bomb preparations have been pointed out by critics of the claim that the Weatherman group did not try to take lives with its bombings. Harvey Klehr, the Andrew W. Mellon professor of politics and history at Emory University in Atlanta, said in 2003, 'The only reason they were not guilty of mass murder is mere incompetence. I don't know what sort of defense that is.'

on June 9, 1970, their first publicly acknowledged bombing occurred at a New York City police station, On May 19, 1972, Ho Chi Minh’s birthday, The Weather Underground placed a bomb in the women’s bathroom in the Air Force wing of The Pentagon. The damage caused flooding that devastated classified information on computer tapes.

Bill Ayers, now a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, was quoted in an interview to say 'I don't regret setting bombs'...

By the same logic that you use, GW Bush is a Nazi. GW's grandaddy did business with Hitler. Therefore Himmler was a friend and advisor to GW.
Therefore GW is responsible for all the people who died in the concentration camps. Don't you see how faulty your logic is? By the same twisted thinking that you use, I can prove that Cheney murdered Christ. Hint: It wasn't a hunting 'accident.'

It was written in the stat that when the campaign would get closer to term the GOP would get into a smear campaign and drop all decency. The latest add about Obama has been analyzed by a lot of newspapers and the media outside the USA to demonstrate how scandalous the tactics used by the GOP rally are.
The add portrays Obama as saying that the US soldiers are nothing but murderers .They used his own words to do do.Problem is thatthe statement was cut out of a larger interview to retain only those words that could be glued into a false assumption.
Obama was misquoted expressly ,the words used were thus:We've got to get the job done there, and that requires us to have enough troops so that we're not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there...this was about Afghanistan after a series of bombs were mistakenly dropped on villages and killed innocent children:
//query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9b02e2d6133df934a35751c1a9659 c8b63
These kind of events occurred on regular basis .
There is a problem in Afghanistan with the ongoing war.if children and innocent people continue to be killed and just regarded as 'collateral damage ' then this war is no longer justified and the troops will loose support from the local population,in which case the war would be lost .Obama seems to understand the problem. The mutilated sentence in which the republicans claim that Obam is accusing your troops to be just murderers ,was saying exactly that .Obama wanted to move the trops from Iraq to Afghanistan.one can eventually dispute the statement that more troops in Afghanistan would reduce the killing of innocent children, but it takes a scandalous amount of lies to turn the statement of Obama in such a smear. It demonstrated that no lie will be shunned by the GOP to fool honest people. It was done by Reagan,Nixon,Bush,Chenay and others, there seems to be no decency left anymore. The taps of smear are wide open only because these tactics are efficient ,like it or not,the minds of human pople are easy to be swayed .Palin inaugurated these tactics when she claimed Obama was friends with terrorists ,the GOP internet task force has tried to insinuate that Obama was muslim. There will be no end to the revolting smear for one month.it is a far stretch from the principle of democracy which those same people claim to defend .In the end the american people is the first and last casualty as a honest debate is rendered impossible.Hence the first question one has to ask himself in order to make a honortable choice for a president is;who is using these tactics, why ?Am I allowing myself to be fooled by such stupid arguments and statements completely taken out of context. There are times when the world outside the US are looking at you and wondering if Dr Goebbels,Hitler's propaganda minister is at work in the USA .Some of the comments and smear made here and everywhere else suggests so.
