Palin to Biden: 'I may not answer the questions that either the moderator or you want to hear...'

That's it.... as long as she can ignore the question and just give her scrIpted material she can survive... just like the sportscaster or weatherperson on TV.

Unfortunately that will not cut it as Veep or Pres.... quite often you might actually be expected to ANSWER A QUESTION from your own brain.... and we have many choice examples of her doing this.

These two would`nt know how to boil water. Economy and terrorism !
It`s like something from Disneyland.

They don`t know what economy is, but they could always ask that little turd Bush - after all in his 8 years, HE`S screwed it up real and proper.

AND terrorism - well, who better to ask than that brain-dead brown job from Illinois. With his Muslim connections he will be more than expert in filling them in on how to kill, cripple and destroy anything American.

McCain, Oh my arthritis is killing me, Palin, the pride of the Eskimo`s and the face to go with it, Cocoa bean Obama, the juvenile black boy from ? er well, from nowhere really and Biden, the dusty old relic picked up at some flea market.

What a motley pack of nondescript`s to form the Presidential kernel of Government for the great UNITED STATES !

You poor sod`s. Grin and bear it for another unpalatable and agonising 4 years, keep your money under the old oak tree in a box and make sure you get in front of the welfare queue. Just push all those blacks aside.

Have a nice day.

Biden lied again:Oct 3rd, 2008 - 16:39:01

Biden Lied About Obama Not Supporting Hamas Election

That’s right—not only did Biden confuse the West Bank and Gaza, he blatantly lied when he said that Barack Obama did not support the Palestinian elections that put Hamas in control of Gaza.

During His 2006 Trip To The Middle East, Obama Met With Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas And Said The Election Represented An “Opportunity...To Consolidate Behind A Single Government.” “Illinois Senator Barack Obama’s journey to the Middle East took him to the West Bank Thursday for a meeting with the man elected to replace Yasser Arafat. ... For a time Thursday in the West Bank there was only the clatter of cameras as the newly elected president of the Palestinian authority, Mahmoud Abbas, met with Illinois Senator Barack Obama. At a meeting with Palestinian students Thursday, Obama said the U.S. will never recognize winning Hamas candidates unless the group renounces its fundamental mission to eliminate Israel, and Obama told ABC7 he delivered that message to the Palestinian president. ‘Part of the opportunity here with this upcoming election is to consolidate behind a single government with a single authority that can then negotiate as a reliable partner with Israel,’ said Obama.” (Chuck Goudie, “Obama Meets With Arafat’s Successor,” ABC 7 News, obama.senate.gov, 1/12/06)

The Palestinian News Agency WAFA Reported That Obama Was Supportive Of The Palestinian Elections Being Held At Their Scheduled Time. “President Mahmoud Abbas met Thursday with the U.S. Senator Barack Obama (D-IL), in the Presidential HQ in Ramallah...President briefed the U.S. Senator about the latest developments in the Palestinian territories including the preparations for the legislative elections.... Abbas and Obama discussed the means of underpinning the American-Palestinian economic relations...Obama asserted the US supports and eager that the Palestinian legislative elections on its proposed time (January 25).”

Palin to Biden: 'I may not answer the questions that either the moderator or you want to hear...'

sp4 - isn't that the true definition of debate...?

DEFINTION OF 'DEBATE'...Random House Dictionary:

1) 'a discussion involving a proposed solution to an issue.'

2) 'a formal contest in which the affirmative and negative sides of a proposition are advocated by opposing speakers.'

................The key here is that there is an ISSUE (singular) or PROPOSITION (singular) to be discussed or advocated. Simply stating that you do not care to answer the question given to you is not acceptable.

I'm sure this is far too difficult for most of your cohorts on this site to follow.... but I believe you can.

Biden lies again:Oct 3rd, 2008 - 17:01:28

Biden:

'Look, all you have to do is go down Union Street with me in Wilmington or go to Katie’s Restaurant or walk into Home Depot with me where I spend a lot of time and you ask anybody in there whether or not the economic and foreign policy of this administration has made them better off in the last eight years.'

I don't believe for a second that Joe Biden spends any time at Home Depot, but if you went with Sen. Biden to Katie's Restaurant in Wilmington, you'd find that things are indeed dire.

Things are so bad, in fact, that Katie's Restaurant has closed its doors.

It's kinda tough to see how the sad fate of this establishment can be blamed on George W. Bush, though, given that Katie's Restaurant in Wilmington has been out of business for FIFTEEN YEARS.

Joe Biden is a LIAR.

Is this a bad dream?Somebody actually attacked Biden because he supported democratically held elections in Palestina ...because the GOP doesn't like the outcome .To rant even more by concluding that is proof that Biden and Obama support terrorism ?
With that kind of completely surrealistic logics the GOP are hoping to snare potential voters ?I can only tell yoou that this kind of gross falsifications of events or opinions is unworthy of a democracy. It fits perfectly the smear campaign the republicans are waging nevertheless.
Probably in a vain attempt to divert your attention from a bigger scandal;giving the wall street tycoons 700 billion dollars of your money without any control or compensation.

FROM HER OWN BRAIN......

Asked how living close to Russia gave her foreign policy experience, Palin said,
“It’s very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia, as Putin rears his head and comes into the airspace of the United States of America. Where - where do they go? It’s Alaska - right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are . . . right next to, to our state.”

...but for the first time in my life, I see something Biden is actually doing right.

He is going to let Obama win or lose this on his merits and he will not be the one to spoil it. A smart move for a guy who, historically, has made some really boneheaded moves.

Palin, nonetheless, looked pretty good.

Biden caught lying...Oct 3rd, 2008 - 19:04:12

'Is this a bad dream?Somebody actually attacked Biden because he supported democratically held elections in Palestina ...because the GOP doesn't like the outcome'

The point you missed you idiot is that Biden lied. The other point is that the elections legitimized a terrorist organization whose sole aim is to destroy Israel. Not that you would have a problem with that:

Biden on elections in the West Bank last night:

'Here's what the president said when we said no. He insisted on elections on the West Bank, when I said, and others said, and Barack Obama said, 'Big mistake. Hamas will win. You'll legitimize them.' What happened? Hamas won.'

But news reports from that time tell a different story:

'During His 2006 Trip To The Middle East, Obama Met With Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas And Said The Election Represented An 'Opportunity...To Consolidate Behind A Single Government.'...Obama asserted the US supports and [is] eager that the Palestinian legislative elections [take place at the] proposed time (January 25).'

Further:

The Washington Post's Glenn Kessler notes that 'Obama had been a senator for only a few days when the election took place, but if he made such statements, they did not appear in news reports or transcripts that are contained in the Nexis or Factiva databases.''
