Like it or not, the american public still respects the matrimonial pair-bond. They perceive anyone who violates it, as dishonest.

This is because it is.

Then, they ask themselves if this person can be trustworthy.

Correctly so, they cannot be.

Because, if your wife cannot trust you, and you, as H. Ross perot once said, take an oath to her in front of God, the preacher, her family and your family, just how is the rest of the world supposed to trust you?

I have been trying to get news on russia/georgia conflict and all i can find is 24/7 coverage of edwards affair. Oh wait - news flash - bernie mac is dead.

Central Africa has a human tragedy going on day after day and nary a wisp of information about it in the drive-by, so-called mainstream media. Instead, their hatred of Bush is so bad, that they descend on every single negative aspect they can dredge up, on a moment to moment basis.

Go pick up a copy of a book called 'Bias' by Bernie Goldberg. This guy is a committed liberal, who was slime'd by the Dan Rather - Moonvie libnazi contingent of CBS. He was forced out and then wrote a tell all about how biased the libnazi media actually is.

Even for a person like me, it was eye-opening. These people are exactly what you think they are:

Conceited

Bigoted

So sure that they have THE correct bead on the world and reality in general.

Provincial

Snobbish

elitist.

To them, they are on this earth to undermine anyone right of center in politics. One only has to listen to their god, Ted Turner, who verified this publicly in speech after speech.

Even in the face of losing viewers and readers in droves, these news institutions continue down this suicidal path.

I agree it's not just the sex. It's the constant lying to the press, the sneaking around, the disloyalty to his wife, especially during her time of need. The entire persona of what people thought John Edwards was has been destroyed.
