What other explanation is there for people even considering an egomaniac windbag who decided he was ready to be president of the United States of America and take his place along with Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln after a grand total of 143 days in the senate?
The presidency isn't a beauty contest and the only thing Obama has done long enough to get an idea what he stands for is to go to Jeremiah Wrights 'damn America' church. You certainly can't go by his promises, because he breaks them.
And of course Obama didn't go to see our Soldiers and Marines, there were no cameras allowed in the hospital so why would he bother? He needs to be SEEN doing the right thing or else he might as well go to the gym, right?
McCain visits the troops, as a matter of fact he has 2 sons serving.

Right, it's an insult to Paris and Brittany who are actually doing things they are qualified to do unlike the obamamessiah.
What the media commmentators are saying is that the republicans are conducting a smear campaign,rather than focusing on their own program .That is frequentl demonstrated by some posters here too,as they smear Obama ,without finding even anything positive to mention on the program of the republican party .For them it is a campaign between two personalities ,one good,and one evil .They are not a bit interested in the different ideologies,only occupied with minor futilities like how much time Obama or McCain spend with wounded soldiers,etc,etc.Is it plain ignorance of the more important issues like the Iraqi war strategy,the sorry state of education and the economy and the models that need to be used tp improve on those ?I think so as never any measure is brought forward with enough clarity and vision to be discussed .We are to be believing that things are improving in Iraq ?Why so?I'v never read any article of any battle with a victorious outcome for anybody in Iraq during the last four yers .So I suppose this war is of a special nature,tha has to do with emphasis on other means than victory on the classical battlefield with gunshots and bullets .Yet very little is known about that ,nothing much mentionned in the media,only vague strategies like 'staying the course ' ,etc,etc.
And what about health care,medicare,school drop outs,gangs that have replaced legal authority in many neighbourhoods in the big cities.What about global warming ?Normally in an electoral process focus should on these issues.Yet from the republican side not much transpires in te debates.Focus is cast on the lack of experience of Obama from republican side .Ok then,now show your potential voters the experience of McCain on these issues,ghis scripts,speeches but most of all the concrete measures he will take to curb this problems .That of course means you will have to study these problems .I'll give you an example:saying climate change is a hoax is not good enough .You'll find against you the entire scientific community minus a few stray cats .Incidentally McCain does recognize the urgency of the issue .So that leaves his conservative electorate in the mist,I' say.
And incidentally combating Michael Moore's Sicko with the argument that he is fat and ugly does not show much much of intelligence .Too often this kind of smear is used and has led the rest of the world to believe education standards are in dire need of improvement in the USA,too many people are left out without the proper chances of enjoying higher education grades .It should never be a manner of poor versus rich to gain access to education.

'Last week, Senator Obama skipped a visit with wounded U.S. troops at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany because the Pentagon would not allow campaign staff or media to accompany him into the hospital. I served as director of trauma surgery at that hospital for nearly four years and saw the effect that a visit from a celebrity like Senator Obama could have on morale. During that time, I do not recall a single member of Congress canceling a visit with the troops despite being just a few hours away, but Senator Obama seems to have been more concerned with how the visit would affect him than how it would affect the soldiers recovering from wounds received in the service of their country.'

Dr. Danny Jazarevic served as the Chief of Trauma, Critical Care and Vascular Surgery at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. In 1984, Dr. Jazarevic joined the United States Army and later the Florida National Guard. He has since served in Honduras, Africa, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, and Iraq. From December 2002 through January 2006, Dr. Jazarevic was assigned to the U.S. Army Hospital in Landstuhl, Germany, where he served as Chief of Trauma, Critical Care and Vascular Surgery. During this period, he deployed to Iraq numerous times, including with the 101st Airborne Division Forward Surgical Team and as Director of Operations for the 44th U.S. Army Medical Command. He is currently the Chief Trauma Surgeon at a civilian medical center in Florida, and also serves as a full Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. Dr. Jazarevic has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal.

Why should Obama be the quiet one? It's unfair to say that they both are running a bad campaign. We have all seen how McCain numerously tarnished Obama's reputation and this is affecting his campaign. so why shouldn't he answer back? His answers are even more diplomatic than McCains ads.
McCain has put Obama in a 'damn if you do and damn if you don't' position.
He argues that Obama has no capabiltiy on the world stage and issues of defending America.
Obama has repeatedly showed his capabilities : using diplomacy with Iran --which is adopted by the White House, Put more efforts on Afghanistan - which is true due to increased death of Americans soldiers, return American soldiers from Iraq--endorsed by Iraqi leader and British -Gordon Brown,creating better relationship with America and the world --which is hailed by almost every country he visited.
So why this mockery. Does McCain's love for America stops short of its popularity? MccCain claims to love America but mocks the positive reversal of it's popularity on the world stage! Who is the inexperienced candidate now?
McCain fought in Viet Nam. He's a respected and honorable war hero. True, true.
However his herosm is of the past not the present. He was a POW and didn't win in Viet nam . So does this mean that he wants to make American soldiers POWs as well?
The world is watching. Americans are not blind. McCain is a jealous little boy who throw tatrums when he is not being noticed. Sorry, Americans are gradually growing weary of his tatrums which will soon be meaningless. soon all will recognize the positive credentials of Obama's leadership abilities and recognize his uplifting accomplishments during his travel and those at home.
In the mean time, McCain should continue his smears because the more he puts out, the lower he will sink.

The die is cast and for reasons that only a privileged few know, you Sir, will be the next President of the United States of America. Your next 4 years will be a turning point in US history and planet earth. CHANGE, your advisors and high stake investors offer the nation will undoubtedly be the same rhetoric and empty promises that make up a political campaign, that campaigns for appointment for any public office in America.
The White House will be the Black House to some, the Aryan Brothers of America will not be so happy, but yet will blame you and your staff if you fail, which will reinforce their belief that the Aryan Nation is the true leader for America. The religious zealots will be busy bees making nests to survive the onslaught of lies, corruption and deceit. You will never while in office be able to pull the troops from conflict in any land we are engaged in. As a matter of fact we as a nation will be engaged in a new conflict of war, which will galvanize Americans to seek a different form of government and a different and honest Congress.
You will attempt to shore up Americas problems with false promise and lies, because you cannot directly affect the CHANGE you promised.
Your frustration will be your downfall while in office, and your co-dependence on those that you trust will also add to your demise.
Our Armed Forces in rank will respect you as good soldiers they are, but those under them will not, and for good reasons, that only a good soldier knows.
America will not be America until its government respects the People, and tells the truth. America is a Republic, not a Democracy or Fascist Government or is it?
Until you can walk thru the streets and neighborhoods of America unaided by Secret Service or any other law enforcement agency you will not be respected by the many, only by the fearful and selfish few. McCain has a reputation for degrading and demeaning those who work under him - 'If you don't want bullies in schools and work places, don't vote to put one in the White House' was quoted recently by a New York University professor.
You stupid witch. Canadians DO NOT pour accross the border to seek medical care in your sh*t pit of a country. Yes some do, I will agree. The wealthy can afford to jump the border and avoid the inconvenience of having to wait for their cosmetic surgery. Why do a lot of americans come to Canada or use the internet pharmacies to purchase their medications? Cost is the only reason. The drugs are the same as in the US, only 1/4 to half the price. Most Canadians, like most americans cannot afford the outragious cost of medical care in the US. My father in law had a heart attack while touring your country. 10 days in hospital cost over 350,000 dollars. He's still paying it off 8 years later. In Canada, it would have been 10 days in hospital and go home without fear of going into bankruptcy. Now, to get back to the topic at hand, the GOP (Graft Obfuscation Perfidy) party has no platform, no plan and no leader. The GOP is a failed party. It is time for change in your country. Time to heal from the wounds created by the neocons. By the way, before any neocon Neanderthal attacks me for sticking my nose in your federal election, let me say this: We have a group of neocons up here. They are called Conservatives.
