'Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac'
... 'Old Bailey Savings And Loan' turned into 'Las Vegas Gambling Hall' by 'Financial Idiots' (the government) and 'Financial Con Artists' (CEOs and Investment bankers).
The new economic system.
We had the 'New Deal', well now we have the 'Lets Make A Deal'.
Fannie Mae gets it's gonads into trouble, buying substandard loans from dem backers like Countrywide, who they give preferential loans to, then gets you and I to bail them out afterwards.
Then, Bush signs the f--cker.
How do you like Bi-partisanship, so far? It's a lot better when they fight.
well they know how stupid bush is and he will sign anything that might help get his rateings up .but to late now ain't that right sp-douche bag?
..that would be true except for the glaring fact that he's out in six months and I seriously doubt he's just gushing about his approval ratings like some sychophanitc libnazi. But I'm sure that kind of straightforward logic is wasted on a dildo like you, ned.
EssPee resorts to calling people dildos or some other such thing. This is typical behavior of a Republican't. They cannot conduct an intelligent conversation because they are bankrupt in that department. But EssPee carries it one step farther because he is bonged out of his gourd.
Hey SP4:
Here is a quote out of 'Open Secrets' the link is opensecrets.org/news/2008/06/countrywides-campaign-contribu.html
'What we do know is how much money CEO Mozilo, plus other individuals associated with Countrywide and the company's PAC, spread around Washington over the years. Since the 1990 election cycle, Countrywide and its employees have contributed $1.3 million to federal parties, candidates and committees, 59 percent to Republicans and 41 percent to Democrats. About $263,000 has been contributed in the '08 cycle alone. Mozilo and his wife, Phyllis, have contributed more than $119,500 since 1989, 67 percent of which has gone to Republicans. In the 2008 cycle, they have given a total of $11,800, including $1,000 to presumptive Republican candidate John McCain.'
It appears that 58% of Countrywide political contributions and 67 % of the Mozilo's contributions went to the Republicant's. Please study up and 'get back to us'. And this absolutely makes you wrong (as usual).
Sigh...
I bought a bunch of lottery tickets and I didn't win. I want congress to give me back the money I squandered so I can buy more lottery tickets.
By the way stuttering bonehead:
'WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said in an interview published on Saturday the size of a residual U.S. force left in Iraq after the withdrawal of combat troops would be 'entirely conditions-based.''
So it's official, Obama has taken every position on everything and no one can have the slightest idea what he really means because his words signify absolutely nothing.
Thank you and good night.
..try reading.
If you do that, you will see the point I made. It's as large as a Dodge truck, you cannot miss it.
In the latest episode with Countrywide, Sen. Chris Dodd, who got subprime personal loans, is ramrodding this little bailout. Obama got one too. Now while others stepped up to the trough, the DEMS now lead the Congress, so go see them about it!
Both parties are sanctioning this lemon, with the DEM leadership leading the way, and Bush putting his name on it!
While that does not necessarily make me right, it sure as hell does not make me wrong.
Inform yourself.
Here is your exact words, you are not smart enough to be a good liar. I believe your point was to Blame the whole thing on 'dem backers' and make 'you and I' bail them out. Please do some study yourself (I am assuming you do know how to read something besides 'Rush News'---that may be a stretch). Then get back to me. More that 50% (a lot more) of the donations went to you Republicant's---try and read!

And yes you are wrong, just too ignorant to admit it!
And by the way SP4, it is us Dems that are trying to clean up the mess you Repubs made. The payoffs to the Repubs during their rein caused the lack of oversight and thus caused the problem. Bush is only signing it because he wants to put the issue to bed and maybe creats some sort of legacy---or in fact solidify the lack of it.
Your ignorance is amazing.
'And by the way SP4, it is us Dems that are trying to clean up the mess you Repubs made.'
Simply infantile... It's always 'the other's' fault.
...but the dems were more than happy to step in, and just as well paid. Witness the fact that they sponsored this lemon and are bucking it all the wqay up for their financiers.
Like I said, this one is as bi-partisan as you can get.
Why are your eyes rolling, did the truth smack you between the eyes and render you senseless? That would explain the rest of your inane post.
' @eyerolls.
Why are your eyes rolling, '
Because you are an idiot.
You are incorrect, moron. Keep avoiding the truth and reality. Why don't you get together with EssPee and do some bong hits. You Repubs have got to be the lonliest pack of losers to ever crawl from the backwoods.
Eyes roll....what are you a 15 year old girl (OMG, LOL, got any more)? Stupidity at its best, glad we have the two of you on thios board to point out the desperation on the right side of this country. Thanks and keep up the good work.
And by the way:
'Simply infantile... It's always 'the other's' fault.'
Look up 'accountability' then you will really know who's fault it is! By the way I have one for you ESAD.
I find it disgusting wehn thee average joe buying a house is compared to somebody buying a lottery ticket. That kind of comparing makes absolutely no sense .And it is supposed to come from somebody defending family values ?When average people buy a house they are trying to get security for their families ,create an asset that they will likely pass to what they love most:teir children .Not everybody is rich enough to look at real estate as a source of investment to buy and sell real estate .That is for a small minority of people that spoil the market, for them a home is nothing more than a lucrative business ..this market should have been regulated a long time ago to prevent real estate investors to make enormous profits on the back of the average joe .Of course the consequences of failing to secure tight rules for the market are now for the government to be solved.Republicans don't like that, nobody does in fact .I guess there could be a simple solution to make sure that those that reaped all the profits and left taxpayers with the bill ,paythe expenses for the salvation of the average joe .Tax high revenue real estate poperties sufficiently to finance that .Simple and easy .Also introduce cheap mortgages for the poorest parts of your citizens .Large families with lots of children and only a small income should always have morgag security for their first property. It would be so easy to implement laws that make it easier for the average joe to aquire a decent home for his family, building of social houses is another one we have here too.The state agencies acting like a property developper can build cheaply if planning according modular standards, introducing energy saving modes in construction ,making it cheaper for most of you all .Now guess who would be opposed to those constructive measures so to speak?Indeed none other than the same republicans and their investing tycoons .For them you buying a house is similar as you going to Las Vegas .Tat says it all for me,no hope as long as they are in power .They'll just leave the profit for the tycoons and when things go wrong the taxpayer will fill the hole without any conditions to be added.
help the housing market - spread a little of that Iraqi 'Bush Battle' money here where it belongs.
'You are incorrect, moron'
What, that you are an idiot? I don't think so.
'Why don't you get together with EssPee and do some bong hits.'
Because he has the brown weed and nothing in the fridge.
'You Repubs '
Registered independent. You are wrong again.
