The way Barrack lashes out at people makes it seem very unlikely he will be a unifier. If he cannot find a way to respond any better than that to such mild criticism what will he do when our enemies really come after us? He may actually appease them. I can see him being that confused.

McCarthyism is here! Terrorists, or anyone that look like them or don't want to kill em, are the new commie. If you ain't for killing terrorists, as defined by Bush, not defined by law, then you are one of them. This is mainstream McCarthyism brewing at the top levels of the U.S. government.

Didn't the Congress just approve funding for counter-terrorism against Iran? Where is Obama on that? This is all just lip service and posturing. The real issues never get covered.

And Obama is going to bury most Americans alive with his tax increases - increases in social security - increases in income taxes - and all this even for those of us who are not even within reach of being able to buy a home.

If you read the book Class Matters and also the book Free Lunch you can read all about how the middle class and especially the upper middle class is the most taxed group there is. The standard of life has gone down and now we can't even afford a home. But we are having to pay for every one else to get subsidized.

I want to see the poor get help but not on the backs of those who do not even own a home themselves. That is wrong. THis has never happened before that we have had a Democratic nominee propose such a thing.

But it will be the middle and upper middle classes that get buried alive by Obama.

Do not vote for him. He has repeatedly said he will do this. He is so out of touch with working people and it isn't just blue collar workers, it's most of us he is oblivious to.

...either. A nice position to be in, don't you think?
It's OK though. Bush has made it politically impossible for any president to ignore the issue. All of them willnow be measured by the Bush standard.

Bush nailed it and Obama's response, sadly, reveals once again that he's unfit to be president. I don't see strength or clarity in the man: witihout question he's devoid of fightig spirit. That's why Hamas and the leaders of the Global Jihad are rooting for him!
In Obama I see a Harvard Law School intellectual with a glib tongue and minimal guts. He's looking worse and worse by the hour.
I hate what Bush has done economically. He's been a bad president. But that doesn't mean his remarks in Israel were inappropriate or wrong.. There were 8 and a half million Jews in Europe before the appeasers permitted Hitler to take power and slaughter 6 million of them. The word 'appeasement' is well understood by the people of Israel.

Obama is a big crybaby.May 16th, 2008 - 22:43:43

Bush was actually referring to Jimmy Carter who met with Hamas while they were launching rockets in to Israel to murder civilians.

Obama heard the word 'appeaser' and naturally assumed that people were talking about him, with good reason. This pandering, lying, ignorant naive child that George Soros has bought the democratic nomination is the very definition of appeasement. What Obama actually said is HERE:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1dSPrb5w_k

No nuance, no wiggle room, just flat out agreeing to meet with Ahmadinejad or whatever other grubby little terrorist monster wants to destroy us for 'negotiations'. Be it Iran, Syria, North Korea, Venezuela... This naive child will 'negotiate' with them without 'preconditions'.

IT EVEN SAYS IT ON HIS WEBSITE:

'Diplomacy: Obama is the only major candidate who supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions.'

He has also said he would negotiate with Hezbollah. (Again, without preconditions) Hezbollah is the terrorist organization sponsored by Iran that has killed more Americans before 9/11 then any other terrorist organization.

McCains response:

'I have some news for Senator Obama: talking, not even with soaring rhetoric... unconditional meetings with a man who calls Israel a “stinking corpse,” and arms terrorists who kill Americans, will not convince Iran to give up its nuclear programs.

It is reckless, it is reckless to suggest that unconditional meetings will advance our interests.

You know, it would be a wonderful thing if we lived in a world where we don’t have enemies. But that’s not the world we live in. And until Senator Obama understands that reality, the American people have every reason to doubt whether he has the strength, judgment, and determination to keep us safe.'

Just FYI, 'lance' is an arab who resents the USA, has stated that we had 9/11 coming and that has voiced support for hizbullah, the terrorist organization that killed more Americans before 9/11 then any other.

Of course he wants an appeaser like obama.

George Bush and John McCain equate talking to an enemy who advocates the destruction of our allies as Nazi 'appeasers.' This is clearly aimed at Barrack Obama. Of course, two years ago, McCain was in favor of talking to Hamas. The Soviet Union wanted to destroy our allies and even our own country and Ronald Reagan talked to them. Bush's own Secretary of Defense and Secretary of State advocate talking to Iran. I guess a lot of Nazi 'appeasers' are in the Republican Party also.
