be good for the USA. She knows more about the job than the other losers combined. This is no job for OJT; Bush has proven that.

SP4: Why yes, DickheadMay 8th, 2008 - 19:58:16

Considering McCain has more experience in his resume' than Hillary and Obama COMBINED...

McCain has spent the last 20 years pushing the ugliest legislation through Congress, bucking dems and republicans alike, going to the middle countless times, on top of actually defending his country, a real plus considering the last two presidents cannot make that claim.

In fact, none of the current candidates can make those claims. They spent their senate years avoiding the hard work inorder to get you to vote for them, and it seems to work.

Johnny? He says 'suck my d--k!' and goes to the fire.

No, Johnny's not going to have any swiftboaters - his guys adore him.

There won't be any Dan Rather's concocting stories about his service: It's ALL public.

Nope, you have a real hero on your hands here, and we already see how you treat heros.

WHAT A GOOD IDEA, SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE.May 8th, 2008 - 21:55:46

'WHAT A GOOD IDEA - QUIT WOMAN'

It is too bad that you can't honestly assert your opinions because you are afraid they will be ridiculed. McCain is the only one genuinely qualified to run the country compared to the other 2 junior senators. Additionally, he has shown that he genuinely loves the USA. Barack has shown genuine disdain for America and Hillary only loves power.

SP4: Colonal DayMay 8th, 2008 - 23:49:57

' I was having dinner with Mrs. Day last week. No, not Mrs. Doris day the actress, but the wife of the Late Colonal Day.

You see, Colonal Day was the senior officer at the Hanoi Hilton, the famous N. Vietnamese prison and death camp for American P.O.W's. One of the junior officers was John MCCain, who was a P.O.W. also.

Now Colonal Day had attempted escape, and the punishment was typical N. Vietnamese. They proceeded to fracture his arm, and set it crooked, with the bone exposed and then told him his punishment was to be crippled for life, and useless.

At the risk of being tortured himself, Lt. John McCain smuggled small pieces of Bamboo in from the compound, and, with his own dirty bandages from his own injuries i.e. his broken shoulders, and other injuries, he set the arm correctly.

Lt. McCain also was tortured. One of the things they did was to tie his head between his ankles with hands tied behind his back, knowing full well of his broken shoulder(s). To this day, because of this, John McCain is not able to lift his arms above his head.

One of the guards was so ashamed of this treatment, he bagan to untie McCain after the shift started, and retied him before the shift change. This saved John McCain from almost certain permenant debilitation. When he walked up to the guard in the compound, the guard made a christiasn cross in the dirt with his foot, and then shuffled it away before anyone could see it. When McCain went back to N. Vietnam, this was the only person he wnated to see.

Lt. McCain also led prayer sessions in the Prison, at risk to himself and others, recalling his Episcopal litergy from memory. John McCain was imprisioned for over 5 years. He refused early release, and stymied the enemies attempt to score a propaganda victory. He was tortured repeatedly.'

This was recounted from an Op Ed piece in the Wall Street Journal, as told to Karl Rove, by Mrs. Day. The facts are not in question and John McCain neither confirmed or denied it.

He doesn't have to.

Everything about McCain, from his war record to his senate record is in public. This is the guy who's On the Record. He's the one with the stinky legislation in-hand. He's the one who bucked Boeing, when the others were sweeping it under the rug.

There will be no swift boaters for this soldier, definitely not one named Day, don't you think?

That being the case, I guess we can just say that you are just-a-little-more-than-full of crap. Then again, look at how you DO treat honest-to-god heros.

Stick this, SPMay 9th, 2008 - 01:34:54

I repeat, McCain is no hero. He bombed so many american troops in South Vietnam that Hanoi considered giving him a medal. The guy was so incompetant as a bomber pilot so he was transfered to North Vietnam air ops, where he couldn't kill americans. McCain was no 'Top Gun,' he was a mud-mover. He also, single-handedly downed 5 american aircraft in his career. This moron couldn't drive a taxi let alone an aircraft. His story is a piece of hollywood fiction. But, he's a 'good' republican, just like that other war 'hero' Randy Cunningham. He got 8 years in jail for taking 2.4 million in bribes. Maybe he should talk to McCain about how to pick up the soap. What with al the other republican scandals, like sexual perversion, it appears that to be a republican, you need to be a low-life, scum sucking, lying, thief.

'I repeat, McCain is no hero. He bombed so many american[sic] troops in South Vietnam that Hanoi considered giving him a medal. '

Just a pathetic lie with absolutely no evidence. McCain's missions were in North Vietnam, idiot. There were no Americans in North Vietnam other then Jane Fonda you dirty little liar.

McCain's Navy records which were just released show an unblemished record of accomplishment and bravery.

Compare that to the America hating child that the democrats are running. Want to talk about 'bribe taking'? Better tell Barack not to drop the soap in front of Tony Rezko when the bribery indictments come down on the little brat that George Soros has decided is going to be nominated, the same little brat who has never served anything other then himself.

You and he have something in common, you are both little parasites living off the efforts and sacrifices of real men like John McCain. Stick that, loser.

Where is Obamas service record? There is none.May 9th, 2008 - 02:37:20

The Department of the Navy released Senator John McCain's service record today in response to a Freedom of Information Act request by The Associated Press.

And it makes for some interesting reading. It essentially comes down to an unbroken record of achievement, courage and heroism :
----------------------------------------------------------

McCain was awarded a Silver Star Medal for resisting 'extreme mental and physical cruelties' inflicted upon him by his captors from late October to early December of 1967, the early months of his captivity, according to the citation. The North Vietnamese, according to the Navy, ignored international agreements and tortured McCain 'in an attempt to obtain military information and false confessions for propaganda purposes.'

McCain, now the Republican Party's likely presidential nominee, was taken prisoner in October 1967 after he was shot down while on a mission over Hanoi. He wasn't freed until March 1973, after the United States signed peace agreements with the North Vietnamese. His captors tortured him and held him in solitary confinement. Still, he declined an offer of early release until those who had been at the prison longer than him were let go.

That decision earned McCain a Navy Commendation Medal. Although McCain was 'crippled from serious and ill-treated injuries,' he steadfastly refused offers of freedom from those holding him prisoner. 'His selfless action served as an example to others and his forthright refusal, by giving emphasis to the insidious nature of such releases, may have prevented a possibly chaotic deterioration in prisoner discipline,' the citation says.

McCain attended the U.S. Naval Academy from 1954 to 1958, and was commissioned as an ensign in June of that year. He retired in April 1981 with the rank of captain. In that time he received 17 awards and decorations. Besides the Silver Star Medal, McCain also received the Legion of Merit with a combat 'V' and one gold star, a Distinguished Flying Cross and a Bronze Star Medal with a combat 'V' and two gold stars.

Several citations mention his achievements either as a prisoner or as a lieutenant commander flying bombing runs off the deck of the USS Oriskany. Some are signed by then-Secretary of the Navy John Warner, who would become a colleague of McCain's in the Senate.

The citations refer to his 'accurate ordnance delivery' and his 'aggressive and skillful airmanship.' He earned his Bronze Star the day before he was shot down, for participating in a mission over an airfield in Phuc Yen, 11 miles north of Hanoi.

The citation for his Distinguished Flying Cross sums up McCain's misfortune the following day:

'Although his aircraft was severely damaged, he continued his bomb delivery pass and released his bombs on the target. When the aircraft would not recover from the dive, Commander McCain was forced to eject over the target.'

Years later, as his Navy career approached its end, McCain received the Legion of Merit Medal. By then, his missions were in the halls of Congress as a liaison to the Senate from the Navy's Office of Legislative Affairs.

He was praised for providing Navy leaders 'with sage advice and sound judgment for enacting critical legislation during a period of severe fiscal constraint.'

Not bad at all, for a potential Commander in Chief. Especially compared to the alternative.

Who would you rather have in charge when things get tough..the hero,or Mr. Hope n' Change?

An unblemished record of achievement. Baseless accusations will never fly, either, especially by some blowass in his Mom's basement.

Hero? Just ask the men who served with him. The story above is undisputed testimony. It was recounted by a man who had his life saved by John McCain.

Sorry, dickhead. There won't be any 30 year old documents made on a 10 year old dot matrix printer. Dan Rather is gone and the next libnazi dick on the news will be far more careful.

Now, go ask yourselves about the political neophyte the dems will trot out in a few months.

The Drug-using, Ivy league, America-hating, provincial, bigoted liberal, who thinks the heartland is chock full of angry gun-toting, but religous(?) men who can't get a job, as if he's ever been past the city limits in his life.

Gee, they sound just like his preacher to me!
