This couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

This sleaze ball has been the first to root through other peoples trash looking for condom wrappers. Stick a fork in him, his career is over.

'Linked to' or 'client of' a prostitution ring? Seems to be a significant difference there, at least in terms of implications. But as a servant of the law, however archaic, ridiculous or unjust it happens to be, the guy has exposed himself to be just another horn-dog hypocrite. Too bad. I like the guy and what he has accomplished, and can here identify with his hormonal weaknesses. I just wish he had been more discreet, or better, worked to legalize the very important service industry that he fell prey to. Oh you can bet those Wall Street yegs will be popping some corks tonight!

Spitzer: I'm very sorry for what I did.

Abbot and Costello: What did you do?

Spitzer: What do you think I did?

A&C: What are you apologizing for?

Spitzer: What do you think I'm apologizing for?

A&C: What did you do?

Spitzer: What do you think I did?

...And of course, there's the faithful, long-suffering wife standing in support, just as corrupt and manipulative as hubby.

Remind you of anyone running for President?

Why do some men pay for what they can get for FREE -- especially from their wives?

Bush it would be OK though. He's the president and he can walk on water and screw all the hos while he's begging for more war money from congress.

Now, let me get this straight.

He went and got a little poontang on the side and this ends his career of crimefighting ? The republicans and the mob bosses must be jubilating.

Have you noticed there's a difference between democrat and republican crime.

Democrats usually get caught for piddling offenses like this and then they lose all credibility while republicans lie, steal, crony, cheat and destroy whatever illusion of democracy is left, all the while invoking the rule of law, support for the troops and the American Way!

It's not a question of whether I feel like throwing up.

It's a question of finding a republican to throw up on... they don't live in MY neighborhood.

They're on the other side of the tracks.

SP4: No, I haven't noticed!Mar 11th, 2008 - 13:50:34

What I have noticed is that when a democrat commits a crime, the number of dems who come to his rescue. An Idaho Senator rubs someone's shoes in a restroom, apparently a serious crime in Minnesota and dems ask for his head.

Ted Kennedy killed a woman and never a peep.

One other thing, the real crime here wasn't Prostitution, it was using public funds to pay for it.

Try coming to the rescue on that!

Iffen' you want to be a Dudley Doright in politics, you had better be a genuine Dudley Doright in your private life. You will otherwise find yourself making the Simon Bar-Sinisters of this world look like good guys.

True Noharness, money makes the world go round...Especially when it comes to politics.Ask the lobbyists in K-street,Washington .Hence your trillions of national debt.
But this guy here is not much better. How can an
aybody afford to spend 3.000 dollars on a prostitute .It wasn't the first time either .
Somebody occupying such an important position is to be impeccable. He failed and thus should be sacked. And so should Bush, wouldn(t you think? He lied and cheated all of you and left you with the bill.No dounle standards ,I(ll gladly side you on that.SP4 ,are you joining us ?
