RE:''What we need to do is translate talk into action, translate feeling into reality. And I have a long record of doing that.''
Yes, I will readily agree that she most certainly has tried to turn 'feeling' into reality. Too bad she did not try to turn THOUGHT into reality. That usually works much better and actually does some good. 'Feelings' don't cut it, Billary. You have to think things through, then act.
Obama plainly lacks experience(s):
Experience in illegal fundraising, chinese and russian campaign funds, and with Mr. Hsu, who just got 3 years in the pokey.
Experience in obtaining FBI files on his political enemies
Experience burying law firm records from Congress
Experience in blaming a dead guy who worked for them for the FBI files.
Experience hiring bagmen like Sandy Ber(l)ar
Experiences selling influence from Oil Companies to Pardons for cash
I'd agree, Senator Obama lacks experience.
Not a damned thing to say about the actual situation, but all the prepared stuff, over and over and over like a broken animatronic robot at Disneyland.
We're going to see months of this primary talk, and I'm bored with the whole thing already - it's going to take far too long to get to the conventions. Someone will win for each party and run for President, and the others wont. That's it.
Romney may have proven that you can't buy it. Bush is a role model for how NOT to govern, and Huckabee just realized that he offended the hard-right of his own party by having the guts to knock Bush, and is now trying to explain it away as being 'misunderstood'.
www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aNRtXAuK8CWs&refer=home
'Huckabee, who criticized ``the Bush administration's arrogant bunker mentality'' in an article for the journal Foreign Affairs, said on ABC's ``This Week'' that he was talking about the president's advisers, not Bush. ``I did not say the president was arrogant. Some of his people were,'' Huckabee said. ``I've been more supportive of George Bush than some of the people who have criticized me.'''

McCain actually stands a chance in this thing, because all of the others are screwups. Romney is just a kiss-ass who will say anything, like SP4. Another guy without a moral center.
The Democrats actually have three valid candidates, but Obama has the momentum and is the class act. People are weary of the 'Dubya act' and a President incapable of speaking clearly, and embarrassing us overseas.
One of these GOP'ers is going to have to address economic issues, and the public is NOT looking to hear anything from a bunch of 'rich white guys'.
A lot of hot air from the southwest due to a high pressure disturbed SP4.

Giuliani Firms Had Potential Conflict of Interest
Roles in Delta Bankruptcy Case May Put Pressure on Campaign
To Open Up About Businesses
By CHRISTOPHER COOPER
May 7, 2007
A pair of companies owned by Rudy Giuliani represented both a debtor and a creditor in a recently concluded bankruptcy proceeding, a potential conflict of interest that wasn't disclosed to the federal judge overseeing the case, records show. The matter could heighten pressures on Mr. Giuliani's presidential campaign to be more forthcoming about the candidate's stable of businesses, their clients and the services they provide.
Shortly after his term as mayor ended, Mr. Giuliani used the reputation he burnished after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to hang out a consulting shingle to provide security-crisis consulting to a variety of companies, calling it Giuliani Capital Advisors. In 2004, Mr. Giuliani added investment banking to the services it provided. According to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Giuliani Security contracted with Giuliani Capital, performing background checks on its potential clients and employees.
But relatively little is known about the complex relationships between Mr. Giuliani's various businesses, their clients and the fees they charge. Because the company has no public shareholders, it doesn't have to make much information public. Though political rivals have pressed Mr. Giuliani to provide a complete list of his clients, which include pharmaceutical companies, distressed businesses and energy companies, the Republican front-runner's campaign has so far declined to do so.
Mr. Giuliani's firm wasn't the only one that made money on the Command contract. The deal was assisted by Richard Chwatt, a contributor to Mr. Giuliani's presidential campaign. According to Command's SEC filings, Mr. Chwatt's firm, Jericho State Capital Consulting LLC, provided the 'introduction' that led to the signing of Command's contract with the Giuliani company. In February 2006, Command agreed to give Jericho $90,000 cash and 350,000 stock options, which are currently valued at about $380,000.
Mr. Galloway, who also operates a New York hedge fund called Galloway Capital Management LLC, said the services Mr. Giuliani provided included personnel training and associated work. The contract calls for Mr. Giuliani's personal advice and assistance, 'consistent with his schedule and other commitments.' It also warns Command Security not to use the trademark 'Rudolph Giuliani,' or 'Giuliani Partners LLC' in promotional material and warns that the terms of the agreement must be kept confidential and that 'any statement' regarding the contract must meet approval of both parties.
Yep, Rudy's lining up for the VP slot.
...but that still does not make my drivel wrong either.
How the left seeks to silence it's critics. Have I ever sought to silence anyone? Of course not! When the libnazi's object to my posts they call me names. When I reply, I usually tell them that they are entitled to their bigoted, narrow opinions, but that still does not, necessarily, make me wrong, either.
That's the part they just go bugsh-t on. It's a sure fire way to score.
I have noticed that many seem to resent the 'partisan drivel' of others. Often the favorite tactic is to allow others do the real speaking by quoting an article from elsewhere while resigning oneself to add on an insult of some kind. It is a rather boring tactic, but it has the advantage that a user need not exercise his or her mind.
Sound Advice!
some believe everything they read!
See what happens when someone takes you out of context? In this case, however, it happens to be a fact.
I've called Bush an imbecile, and at the same time praised McCain for his essential honesty, although I disagree with his Iraq stance. Giuliani is actually dangerous, as he's a phony making big bucks off 9/11 with his own privately held companies, and dealing with some convicted stock swindlers as legal advisor. Romney is their Barbie doll - instead of changing clothes, he changes positions. He gives 'plastic' a bad name.
Huckabee's Iowa win reflects that state's bible-belt positions, but it won't work in New Hampshire - perhaps, in South Carolina. I can guarantee it won't work in New York, Illinois, or California. The GOP realizes that they cannot win the Presidency with him, and will sabotage him, one way or another. That gives McCain a real shot at the GOP nomination; but he's tethered to Bush on the war, so he loses the Independents.
That word 'libnazi' somehow makes it frequently into SP4's posts, as well as other general detrimental remarks about an entire party, and millions of Americans. That's an ignorant bigot at work.
That's exactly the basis of bigotry that Black Americans endured for years - a gross characterization as a race, rather than seeing them as individuals. Obama is a sign of change; in part because he's not calling himself a 'victim', but is trying to bring everyone TOGETHER.
SP4, demigod that he pictures himself, tries to further break us apart through innuendo, invective, and misinformation.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCarthyism
McCarthyism is the term describing a period of intense anti-Communist suspicion in the United States that lasted roughly from the late 1940s to the late 1950s. This period is also referred to as the Second Red Scare, and coincided with increased fears about Communist influence on American institutions and espionage by Soviet agents. Originally coined to criticize the actions of U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy, 'McCarthyism' later took on a more general meaning, not necessarily referring to the conduct of Joseph McCarthy alone.
During this time many thousands of Americans were accused of being Communists or communist sympathizers and became the subject of aggressive investigations and questioning before government or private-industry panels, committees and agencies. The primary targets of such suspicions were government employees, those in the entertainment industry, educators and union activists. Suspicions were often given credence despite inconclusive or questionable evidence, and the level of threat posed by a person's real or supposed leftist associations or beliefs was often greatly exaggerated. Many people suffered loss of employment, destruction of their careers, and even imprisonment. Most of these punishments came about through trial verdicts later overturned, laws that would be declared unconstitutional, dismissals for reasons later declared illegal or actionable, or extra-legal procedures that would come into general disrepute.

Every turd gets to circle the bowl at least once when flushing.
I'm tired of hearing that Obama has no experience! If he's intelligent and can surround himself with like people, there's no reason he couldn't be a good president. Like little Georgie Porgie had a vast amount to his credit!!! The problem with him is he lacked the intelligence to make up for his lack of experience - a double-edged sword stuck in the American public!
Please, let me say that again, Please quit giving yourself more credit that you actually deserve:
'How the left seeks to silence it's critics. Have I ever sought to silence anyone? Of course not! When the libnazi's object to my posts they call me names. The problem is you are always wrong and seem not to notice. The other posters on this site just get tired of your lies---try and show some sort of facts along with your crap and more may pay attention to what you are saying before they flush you like the tu-d you are.
RE:'I'm tired of hearing that Obama has no experience!'
Well, you may be tired of it and yes, it has been oft repeated, but it is also true and it is a valid criticism. The same charge was leveled at the Bushbaby back when he was running the first time.
Re:'If he's intelligent and can surround himself with like people, there's no reason he couldn't be a good president.'
One would hope that he would be smart enough to surround himself with experienced advisers, not merely people with opinions similar to his own. This is exactly what got the Bushbaby, along with the rest of us, into deep dark do-do.
RE:'Like little Georgie Porgie had a vast amount to his credit!!! The problem with him is he lacked the intelligence to make up for his lack of experience - a double-edged sword stuck in the American public!'
Oh, I would never claim that the Bushbaby was ever the sharpest knife we had in the drawer, okay? But inexperience is inexperience and without experience even the very brightest will make mistakes. We should count ourselves lucky that the Bushbaby made as few mistakes as he did. Especially when we re-elected him after giving him four years to fumble around.
Now, lets face up to some facts here. Barak Obama will not be running against the Bushbaby, assuming Obama wins the Democrat primary. He will be running against who ever wins the Gooper Primary. We don't have a clue as to who that will be just yet.
Bigoted? Prejudiced?
No, what I have done is put your own methods on parade by parodying your remarks with one's I concocted.
Libnazi is supposed to be inflammatory. It is the antithesis of the neo-con, and this is why it is so insulting. It's suupposed to make folks think. A pity I do not see any results yet.
My metaphor for liberalism as a religious belief is designed to illustrate people confusing fact with truth. Boy, does that ever piss folks off, huh?
Innuendo? No. Conjecture, to be sure, but I label it as such. Lies? Not on your life! Opinion? Whenever possible.
Poor spelling? Try not using spell check for a day and see how good you REALLY are.
It has been said people who are equally informed seldom disagree. While I hold out for that possibility, I certainly see too many who will just refuse to believe the facts.
So, keep on posting. It's a long ways to November.
They keep getting in the way of his brainwashing.
Meanwhile, not one damned constructive thought on anything; and nothing but excuses and ass-kissing for Bush's string of failures. This will be exposed once the surge forces draw down, and Bush will drag that out so an not to interfere with the 2008 elections, and dump the mess on our next President.
Obama and McCain have the momentum. McCain's problem is that he'd tend to leave status-quo in Iraq, and the Independents and even many GOP'ers want us out, before the country really suffers financially from the costs.
Short of an outright transplant of the Iraqi government, I don't see any progress made being there on a lasting basis, period.
news.monstersandcritics.com/middleeast/news/article_1384939.php/Iraqis_ move_to_Kurdish_north_to_escape_Baghdad_violence
Arbil, Iraq - Iraqis living in and around Baghdad have increasingly been fleeing the violence to seek sanctuary in the Kurdish autonomous region in the relatively quieter north, Arbil's governor told the press on Sunday.
'The improvement of security in Baghdad has not prompted displaced people living in the Kurdish region to return to their hometowns in central Iraq,' Governor Nozad Hady said. 'On the contrary, the numbers of settlers has increased lately from 12,000 families to 16,000,' he said.
The majority of settlers in the Kurdish region are Kurds who have fled Baghdad, Mosul and Anbar province. Others are Iraqi Christians and Sunni Arabs, according to Hady.
'Many of the Sunni Arabs are doctors or professors, and we need their expertise. The sons of some families also work as interpreters with the US military and the multinational forces in Iraq,' he added.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A suicide bomb exploded Sunday amid an Army Day celebration in central Baghdad, killing at least 11 people and wounding 17, an Interior Ministry official said.
Also on Sunday, gunmen shot to death a Shiite tribal sheik active in an effort to counter militias in his northeastern Baghdad neighborhood, Iraqi officials said. Ismaiel Abbas was killed instantly when gunmen in two cars attacked him near his home in the Shaab Shiite neighborhood at 8 a.m., an Interior Ministry official said. Witnesses told investigators the gunmen were Shiite militia, but police are still investigating, the official said.
