also... the MSM has hardly woken up. I sadly watch the news still in hopes that my main man ron will get some air time. But, as Jello Biafra once put it, 'Don't hate the media, be the media.' Our new job as Paul supports is to turn the internet into the MSM!

Unfortunately it took segregationist Governor Wallace to reveal the truth that 'there's not a dime's worth of difference between' Republicans and Democrats. The Democrats willingly went along with the War in Iraq, suspension of Habeas Corpus, detaining protesters, banning books like 'America Deceived' from Amazon, stealing private lands (Kelo decision), warrant-less wiretapping and refusing to investigate 9/11 properly. They are both guilty of treason.
Support Dr. Ron Paul and save this great nation.

Rosa ParksNov 15th, 2007 - 20:42:39

One time during an interview they asked him something along the lines of 'You were the only congress-person against awarding Rosa Parks a congressional gold medal, how can you explain that?'

He basically said,' Well, Rosa Parks is a very heroic person, she stood in the face of adversity of peacefully protested, I admire that a lot. I voted against the measure because I didn't see what role the federal government had in this. The peoples tax dollars shouldn't be used to by people gold medals. But you know what? I went around to all the congressman and said lets do this with our own money, we will each throw in $100, I'll start, but no one really wanted to spend their own money, just that of the taxpayers.'

So this man wanted to spend his own money to honor this lady, not the taxpayers. A lot of what this man about can be seen here. To government should be limited in size, and our liberty should be the important priority of our government, taxes hamper this liberty. Things such as this Rosa Parks award should be done by people and communities, not the government. This man was willing to put his money where his mouth is.

Just for another historical reference, did you know the Statue of Liberty was funded on donations? Not by the US government. That was back in the day when the federal government knew its place. However, the people came together and over the course of several years raised the money necessary to build the base for the statue and put the parts together that France was so generous to give to us. That is how strong communities can be when the government just steps out of the way.

So serious voters eh? Do serious voters like a man that wears a dress for fun in public on camera? Or marries his cousin? How about divorced thrice?
Who are these 'serious voters'?

Oh and to clarify the original intent of the Statue of Liberty was to be placed at the mouth of the suez canal. Unfortunatly for Egypt they ran out of money to purchase the statue and the french helped finance it to the United States.

for 30 years Dr Paul has voted against congressional resolutions that give power to the president to 'pursue peace through whatever means' in the involvement of foreign affairs. He was opposed to the Air bases in Saudi in the 70's that led to the current mid-east situation. He also opposed the US marines in Beirut, and the first gulf war.

Ron Paul is a true American statesman in the class of Adams, Jefferson, and Washington. He is not the typical Washington messenger-boy politician delivering wealth and power to special interest

He has been one of the few congressmen to challenge how the US can fund both side of a battle with money and arms and then must step in as 'peace keepers'.

Please read Dr Paul's book A foreign policy of peace.

Ron Paul is the only candidate attacking the issues seriously threatening the stability of this country. The main reason I'm voting for him is his position on foreign policy. He is 100% correct when he says our foreign policy causes 'blow back'. Our foreign policy is going to bankrupt us and also multiply the number of haters of our country. Ron Paul is the only chance to save our country from destruction.

None of this makes Mr. Paul right. Mr Paul has the LUXURY of sitting in a secure seat in Congress and the LUXURY of dissenting while the nation is required to take steps to proect itself. That pisses guys like me off.

This is a big show stopper for republicans like me, one's who in the past, HAVE left the party for some of the same reasons touted by his faithful. It takes a lot of guts politically tosay,'no, we gotta go' and then take the heat.

In the world we are living in, simply waiting for something to happen and then trying to deal with it has disasterous consequences. If the twentieth century proved anything is that simply wishing for peace and not backing it up with force is the best way to become embroiled in a war, or attacked.

Now Ronny may be St. Francis of Assisi, but that may be why he was never an executive leader either. I get a Jimmy Carter feel from this guy and I don't like it. When he does f--k up, they'll descend on his pious ass like a prison gang, just look at Hillary.

One other thing: You need republicans like me for this guy to win, and I don't give a sh-t how much f--king money he has pledged, he's got something to prove. GW may be a horses ass, crooked, and molest collies for all I know, but when someone needs killing, he won't heistate.

I want a nutcutter.

[ wish we here in the UK had someone like R Paul whose veiws on imigration I completely agree with. we are being inundated by illegals and most of those who come here are theives and gangsters, our local services are on the point of disintigration, but the politicians are too frightend to take on the dogooders who defend this policy of ( ANYBODY ANYTIME). We are becoming the outsiders in our own back yard, it is not surprising that the British National Party are on the rise, I may even vote for them when Chicken Brown call the election.
