Michelle Obama campaign van crash, motorcyclist hurt

The wife of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was involved in a car accident Tuesday that injured a motorcyclist, the Obama campaign confirmed. EPA/JUSTIN LANEMichelle Obama was being driven in a campaign van in Hampton, Iowa, when the motorcyclist crashed into the van’s left side, the Washington Post reported. Neither Michelle Obama or any other campaign staffers were harmed in the accident.Click here to read the Washington Post report. CLICK-HEREThe motorcyclist, who the Washington Post identified as 40-year-old Tim Emerson, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. He was taken to a nearby hospital.“Barack and Michelle's thoughts and prayers are with (Emerson) and his family at this time,” the Obama campaign said in an e-mailed statement.

Whats there to comment. An accident happened. A guy was not wearing helmet. He runs into a van driving a black lady who happens to be the wife of the most recognizable black name in America. End of story. But watch this... this is the US of A. A law suit will soon follow. You wanna know why? I'll tell you Any publicity is good publicity.
