And why in this war-torn, crazy country does there have to be such an elaborate embassy, which has the chances of being bombed anyway?? A few offices in a bomb shelter make more sense!

Its the size of St Pauls cathedral and is supposed to have a series of nuclear bunkers and command posts.Just the ideal place to attack Iran.

$736m plus another $144m gives us a total of $880 million.
Add on the average rising cost and this works out at a staggering $1000M
This isn't a US Embassy thats being built,
thats for sure..
nor is it a 'U.S. diplomatic mission' ????????
