DEmocracy versus dictatorship ,mmmmmh that is food for the mind .To me there is a gradual transition from democracy to dictatorship charcterized by an erosion of liberties such as habeas corpus, torture, rendition, monopolization of the media in small circles .The latter is very well demonstrated by Silvio Berlusconi in Italy who held ther country's media in his grip, used and abused it to gain control over the government .Slander and mudslinging became easy accesible tools for Berlusconi in a bid to get elected .Lack of opposition in the media allowed him to succeed .Consequently his personnal fortune increased almost tenfold, all corruption and embezzlement charges against him were dropped when he introduced new laws tailormade to suit his interest .Untill recently an almost similar situation existed in the USA,especially during the first year following nine elven .Bush frequently declared that all who were not for him were against him .Questioning the invasion of Iraq was deemed unpatriotic ,the Fox netork subsidiaries played a major part in airing that and the fallacious reasons for invasion ,downplaying or preventing stories like the Plane incident..Media campaigns orchestrated by the usual neocons shrouding the USA in darkness .Had this war been succesfull ,nobody would ever have noticed it.It is only because the outcome did not match the picture that was given by the White House, that question were voiced .
Blackwater is representative for what the war realy stands for .It is hardly a well kept secret .For those same reason Sibel Edmonds was gagged when she wanted to share her experience in the FBI wire tapping service. She was prevented from saying that the American Turkish Council which is a powerfull lobby ,involving the usual neocon croneys and the fine fleur of armament industries ,allowed top secret nuclear secrets to be exported to Pakistan via Turkey .Is it still a well kept secret in the USA that the detonators for the Pakistani nuclear bombs were shipped from New Jersey to Pakistan via South Africa ?If so that is because for obvious reasons neocons dont like it when their involvment in spreading nuclear technology is exported to Islamic countries as unstable as Pakistan .As long as the armament industry is allowed to profir from it everthing is allowed, except of course informing the public.Go figure why ...

Maybe Ron Paul isn't personally evil or greedy, but what he's proposing relies upon the promise that rich powerful corporations won't abuse this new freedom from regulation, and rich powerful families won't use their influence to ensure the best schools for their own children, while poor neighborhood schools rot, and individual investors will profit somehow on the stock market, rather than lose everything to bigger, better positioned billionaire investors who have access to information the little guy doesn't understand. We have already experienced the world Ron Paul envisions: unregulated business, every man for himself, let the states do as the powerful in those states chooses....it was called the Gilded Age. Our economy grew, but at the expense of the (even legal!) immigrants, poor laborers, farmers and the average consumer. Although some state governments did fight back, the Gilded Age didn't really end until the Great Depression ended it, and it has been gradually making a comeback ever since Reagan began privatizing and deregulating energy, airlines, the media, etc. It grew under Clinton, who, despite the personal freedoms he appeared to be in favor of, also did more for big business than any modern Democrat before had ever done. Which helps explain how he stayed in office despite his personal habits. Big business LOVED Clinton, and supported him even as they bought out the conservative right. Ever notice how big corporations own networks that air not only the most conservative tv and paper news, but that also air, on the SAME network, the lewdest, crudest of all the network shows? See, they don't really care about any issue, they're just going where the money is. And Ron Paul may THINK he's in favor of the little guy, but the policies he's proposing fit right in with the goals of the billionaire. If only the billionaires were not so greedy, they might realize that backing Ron Paul would, ultimately, result in even greater fortunes for the uberwealthy, at the expense of someone...always gotta be someone...I wonder who that someone might end up being?

I dont know much about Republican presidential candidate's Ron Paul's platform but it's nice to see a person that doesnt have the looks that stereotyping installs in our minds as what a candidate should look like. If he can stop contributions forming committees, and influencing bias on any private citizens life due to not agreeing with public opinion then he has my vote. Special interests have supported only a certain race color to get all the human rights, legal aid, grants, etc and others lost that opportunity due to affirmative action only catering to a certain raceline when the criteria was hire a minority 9 out of 10 times meant they needed to hire a person of black color. Now it's gone, but what about the minorities that lost on that opportunity to have an equal chance, Indians,(Native and South American) Mixes, Vietnamese, Polynesians, Mixes, Seniors, etc? We should open affirmative action up again for these people to have an equal chance of being hired for the next ten years.

Special interest cater to contributions from Gates, Wynn, Weicker, Jackson funding etc etc and usually people dont have a voice when Wall Street investors have a particular issue or legislation with ulterior motives usually, pushed into Congress the interests that they feel are important unfortunately many people are shunned or under represented due to our Congress claiming that there is lack of interest in supporting others human rights. So bring out the drums, play your CD's sorry guys but everyone of you guys are just not cool enough to be heard on our Senate and Republican floor because your nowhere to be seen as a Representative or Senator in this hall amongst us and you dont have the funding necessary from investors to be heard, so there. Lack of interest they say, so the bill is not even introduced on the floor for Human Rights so we have to draft another Human rights bill for black rights again. My question is why isnt a Brazilian Indian representing or speaking on a Brazilian committee or as a spokesperson for them?. Everyone else is doing the speaking for them!! This is unconstitutional.
What about this new Aboriginal committees formed for people who are possibly Indian and Chinese descent? Who formed and pushed an agenda by placing committees for some billionaires theories to be substantiated on their race and identity? These Eskimos are now Aborigines? This has gone far enough. Lets stop committees paid off to substantiate a billionaire's ideologies, theories and on flesh and blood human beings by removing their speech and how they feel about an issue. Once again this is not a hate black comment my best friend and family members are married into half black family in Brazil. I am concerned about my rights and my family in the United States. Freedom of Speech without oppression and to stop lobbyist members from speaking on controversial or private issues and straying form public issues such as global warming, gay marriages, abortion, womens rights to someone's private raceline should be changed because of investors ;point of view.

Ron Paul has never failed to be himself. Dr. Paul is already an instrument of change, having inspired and activated so many people toward active political participation; and, in doing so he activated the right people motivated for the right reasons.

To get Dr. Paul elected, his supporters in every local precinct MUST organize, get their people elected to 'Precinct Chairman' and select delegates to the county and state Republican Party conventions, and nominate Ron Paul as the Party candidate.

We are doing this in my home town.
