look where he was from ...michigan.. and is michigan a state?
i think not..
It seems that all of the campaigns are losing steam with the exception of Ron Paul. The enthusiasm for Ron Paul only increases as people learn about his message of liberty, freedom, and prosperity. He has raised over one million dollars online in just the last week. The momentum is building for a real change in this country bringing us back to the foundation that made this country great! We need a real statesman in the White House rather than just another politician that will sell our liberties and give away our income in order to increase their political power.
Mitt needs GWB on his campaign trail, that would help.....
After all GWB beat a popular governor for the Texas Governorship and two, well, VERY mediocre democrats!
One thing for certain: Ol GW knows how to win!
SP4...except he stole both elections. That is the only way you neo-cons can win, lie, cheat, steal, lie, lie, lie, lie....
Senator Fred Thompson is the only major candidate that gets it. He makes decisions based on principles. Principles don’t change. You have to stand for something and not change who you are based on the polls. That is what Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani have done and all of the Democrats do it. Give me a leader that will stand by his principles anyday versus someone that stands for everything.
I know many, many Republicans that will stay home if Rudy Giuliani is the candidate. He does not represent our values as Conservatives, and never will. Mitt Romney is a liberal RINO (though he seems a very nice man) that simply has everything else and nothing to do. “I guess I’ll just try to buy the presidency”. Conservatives will simply stay home and the Democrats will pick up additional seats in the House and probably get the 60 seats in the Senate they need to completely destroy our Country. Nice picture huh?
However, I think Fred can bring America back together, if that’s even possible. America needs a rebirth of patriotism and honor. Republicans also need a rebirth. President Reagan was our last rebirth and he can never be duplicated. Fred Thompson will bring his own down-to-earth common sense to this Country and strength back to our party. A little of the good old days of faith and family would do well for this Country. If a Conservative runs as a Conservative, he will win!
Think of it this way: Eight years of another Clinton White House? Now if that is not a sufficient enough reason to pull together as a party, as a Country, and fight this socialist liberal takeover of our government, what is? It is not impossible to take back the House and the Senate. We are winning in Iraq—they know it. The best they can do now is stop our progress and choose defeat, just like they did during Vietnam. We lost because Congress chose defeat. History repeats itself when not learned from.
Folks, we are in for the fight of our lives, just as our young men and women are fighting for our freedoms in Iraq and Afghanistan, we must fight for our Country right here and now! I truly believe Fred Thompson is the one man who can pull this party and nation back together! Rudy Giuliani will just tear us apart as a party. Liberal is liberal every day of the week.
Really tick off the leftists and contribute to Fred Thompson: https://www.fred08.com/contribute.aspx?RefererID=c637caaa-315c-4b4c-9967-08 d864cd0791
Too bad we're (the Republicans are) debating who's not as bad.. Giuliani or Romney; Thompson or McCain. If momentum continues (and can translate into more $$), Mike Huckabee is the candidate that everyone can get behind. Mike's the absolute right choice for the GOP, though he's hindered by not being the 'establishment' choice.. yet. I think he's proven alot already, but hope his 3rd Quarter $$'s and even more important 4th Quarter finances are enough to reach the presidency.

Ahem...
How long have we citizens of the United States of America sat uneasy, with this feeling like something stalks us from behind, feeling a compulsion to look over our shoulders in nervous anticipation?
The same issues have been on the back burner in this country for atleast 25 years. The pot is beginning to spit its first drops over the edges, and we can be certain, it will boil over. Yet no one can reduce the heat because we all squable over this impertinent specific, as to how long we can allow it, unattended.
The lack of Social Security is a real issue in this nation, and the same two groups, currently policing our field of candidates, have failed to deal with it for nearly three decades. Our monies are promised to be wisely safeguarded for us by the federal government, yet there can be NO harvest because in reality, the very moment said money is garnished from my wages, it is evaporated along with the entire general fund of the taxed dollars collected by our employees(i deliberately refuse to call these people our leaders as that undermines the reality which is that WE hire THEM to handle this country's federal affairs) whom are stationed in Washington.
Additionally this notion of the United States being the world's police is a sham of an idea, dreamed up by grandiose politicians with such high oppinions of themselves, that their craniums have expanded to such an alarming level, the iris of each eye has become so distorted that it can clearly no longer see truth. Part of comprehending 'right now' is knowing where it is that you once were. Pick up any history of the world and you will see countless attempts launched by nations/empires, which have long since perished and crumbled inward upon themselves, to conquer and harness the nations surrounding them. The sun has set on the English empire. Rome wasn't built in a day, but its fall came in a breath as slight.
We must insist upon re-establishing a sense of democracy in this nation. Allowing our government to continue catering to the special interests of private parties, with ballooned wallets, rather than the good of the whole, is completely undermining the delicately beautiful notion we have called liberty.
Our officials in Washington have lost their way, the country is financially, militarily and socially weaker today than it was 50 years ago. Surely that is a thorough enough sample to qualify a trend of downward slide. It is evident that what we have been doing is gradually NOT succeeding. I for one do not wish to crew a vessel with a captain with no vision of direction and an ear that has deafened to navigation.
It is not working, so let us cease to allow this bi-partisanship, which has been rendered unnecessary by our wealth of technologies in the field of communications, to hand select our candidates for president through party nominations, in which we as citizens have no voice. The line between this system and the controlled 'elections' of fascist nations abhorred by all in this country, and thin and blurry at best.
I say that the candidates held in the lowest esteem of their respective parties are likely the ones to be trusted. If they aren't on the wagon of the parties legislating for the few, then logic tells us that they are for the people!
Change is necessary, if we are to avoid the collision that we all sense is coming. Change is frightening, but change is growth. Without growth, there can be no life.
Please...vote Ron Paul, or vote for someone ELSE in 2008.
