Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signs landmark greenhouse gas bill

Governor of California, popular Austrian native Arnold Schwarzenegger has progressively attacked global warming concerns and created a new law that initiates reduction in overall greenhouse gases.

The new law commits the state to a 25% reduction by 2020.The L.A. Times reports: "The bill commits the state to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases by 25% by 2020. Greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere and cause global warming."At a signing ceremony at Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay, Schwarzenegger inked his signature, and he will repeat later today at a second ceremony scheduled for scenic Pepperdine University on Malibu Canyon Road in Malibu.“We simply must do everything we can in our power to slow down global warming before it is too late,” Schwarzenegger said.
