the ignorance never ceases to amaze meJun 6th, 2008 - 19:20:35

not all Islamics and Muslims are terrorist or hell bent on killing every one else. It is the extremist of the religion that follow this. To believe that all Muslims and Islamics are terrorists, is to be a bigot. Just about every known religion has or has had its extremists, the crusades ring a bell? lets not forget that history in times past was written by those who won the war, and religion was a major part of why nations went to war. So get off your mighty high horses, all your doing is spewing more hate which will get the world no where. Their are bigger problems at hand than who's religion is better (Which is a moot point to begin with) that the world as a whole will be facing over the next 50 years such as the looming energy crisis (Which the war in iraq is really all about, go look up 'Peaking' as it relates to oil production), population booms, and food shortages begin to unfold (As they already have). Hatred to other peoples will only compound with these looming problems. So the last thing we need are more bigots who paint every one with the same brush stroke.

Oh and the conspiracy theorists always give me a good chuckle as well.

Do you know the frase:

?
This is exactly what happened.

First off, this guy will never see the light of day if acquitted.. he has state secrets, they cannot release him! So he's pretty much doomed no matter the outcome.

Second, for those of you going off on religon, I ask you this: how many millions of people have been murdered throughout history in the name of 'god' or 'allah' or any religion? If religion is so right, there wouldn't be even 1 person murdered or killed in the name of it... most of the greatest atrocities in human history have been done under the guise of 'religion'. If that's religion and belief in god then you can have it because it's no way for one human being to treat another.

Third and final point, we can only hope that these trials will lead to the truth being released to the people of the world as to what really happened. Buildings don't fall at free fall speed, fire doesn't burn metal buildings, and there were explosives planted in all 3 buildings.. even the NYFD says so. Countless firefighters heard the explosions as the buildings were coming down(they even evacuated their personel because they found/had reports of explosives).. countless numbers of engineers all agree that building 7 was a controlled demolition.

conspiracy theories? How about the laws of physics? Perhaps you know of some way those buildings defied the laws of physics? It's already been proven numerous times that they would have had to have broken the laws of physics to fall that fast. Maybe they were standing in some sort of other dimension where the laws of gravity and physics simply don't apply.

Perhaps you can show us some instance in the history of mankind that fire actually caused a metal frame building to fall prior to 9/11. Because it's never been reported to have happened. But magically it happened 3 times that day.

And I suppose all those NYFD personel at ground zero were just mistaken when they heard numerous explosions going off just before and during the collapses...

They aren't conspiracy theories.. they're simple facts and eye witness testimony.

Believing the party line - sign of a truly weak mind. keep on drinking the kool-aid and living in your delusional little world. And enjoy those fewer freedoms that keep getting fewer by the day.

So maybe there were explosives in the buildings - that doesn't mean they weren't planted there by the same terrorists who took over the planes and not the government. This is just another crazy theory like the one that the government had JFK killed.

How is it that our school system can produce people with opinions displaying this kind of abominable ignorance? I sometimes think it must be the product of WILLFUL ignorance.

For starters, we have known for a long time that fire causes severe trouble for metal frame buildings. For those of you with doubts, here is a short read:

//books.google.com/books?id=l9MOAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA4&dq=fireproofing+date:18 00-1930&lr=&as_brr=1

Download this and read it. You will then be relieved of some of your ignorance. Notice, if you will, that the copyright of this book is dated 1899. THATS RIGHT! EIGHTEEN-FRAKING NINETY-NINE!

Steel buildings can and do indeed burn. You cannot safely reuse steel members that have suffered fire damage for this reason. One of the handiest ways we have for cutting steel is by BURNING IT! I don't know who filled your head with drivel, but it is exactly that, drivel.

Aluminum burns even more readily than does iron. Aluminum-magnesium alloys burn even more readily than that. Large stocks of titanium in storage are about the same grade of fire hazard as a lumberyard. While titanium will not burn as readily as wood, it will burn far hotter and is far more difficult to control once it has started burning. Most metal fires CANNOT be put out with water or even CO2. CO2 will support combustion in a metal fire.

Both coal and charcoal have a heat of combustion of about 13,000 btu per lb. We smelt iron and make steel with, guess what, coal and charcoal. The LOWER heat of combustion of kerosene is about 18,500 btu/lb. The heat of combustion for very pure kerosene (Jet A) is closer to 20,0000 btu/lb.

After those airplanes struck the WTC Towers they basically became inefficient blast furnaces. DO YOU GET IT, YET? Those buildings were doomed as soon as they were struck by those great big heavy airplanes loaded with thousands of gallons of kerosene.

Further, you need to understand that the strength of steel goes down with an increase in temperature and at a temp of about 343C its strength drops rapidly with every degree of increase in temperature beyond that.

THERE WERE NO EXPLOSIVES, YOU IDIOTS!

Al Qaeda did its homework and pulled off a perfect op. Get used to it, because that is what happened. WE SCREWED THE POOCH and they got it right.

Still waiting for the NIST report for WTC7, 16 million $ budget and years of time ..... but we still wait. I don't buy into or discount these theories but the Silverstein 'pull it' video (I've never heard of firefighters being refered to as an 'it') british broadcasters reporting the collapse before it happened and the lack of that WTC7 NIST report leave questions too big to ignore. Operations Northwoods and Mongoose prove to me your government (i'm a canuck) would consider planning staged (false flag) events by killing Americans and blaming it on the enemy to further policy objectives.

8. It is possible to create an incident which will demonstrate convincingly that a Cuban aircraft has attacked and shot down a chartered civil airliner enroute from the United States to Jamaica, Guatemala, Panama or Venezuela. The destination would be chosen only to cause the flight plan route to cross Cuba. The passengers could be a group of college students off on a holiday or any grouping of persons with a common interest to support chartering a non-scheduled flight.

The Pentagon report even suggested covertly paying a person in the Castro government to attack the United States: 'The only area remaining for consideration then would be to bribe one of Castro's subordinate commanders to initiate an attack on [the U.S. Navy base at] Guantanamo

Okay, you are an ignoramus of the worst kind. You are WILLFULLY ignorant. The truly astonishing thing about ANY of the buildings in the WTC complex is not that some of them collapsed, but that so many of the remained standing. ALL OF THEM were struck by the equivalent of a pyroclastic flow. There is no wonder about the WTC towers collapsing. The truly amazing thing is that they stood for as long as they did.

You are need of professional help, or you are simply an evil little bug pushing a nefarious political agenda. If the latter, you are still in need of professional help.

'My delusional little world'?Jun 7th, 2008 - 07:42:38

'Believing the party line - sign of a truly weak mind. keep on drinking the kool-aid and living in your delusional little world. '

I saw the airplanes being deliberately flown into the buildings with my own eyes. No secondary explosions. 'Controlled demolitions' just use explosives to cut the the columns after they have been weekend by engineers. I was in one of the towers a couple of weeks before, no cut columns, no primer chord... (I can't even believe I have to write that) It would have been the most obvious thing in the world to the people working there. There was no evidence of it at the site.

Hundreds of thousands of people saw this happen. Hundreds of thousands of feet of film and videotape were taken of it happening. The monsters who committed this atrocity have gleefully bragged about it. Yet there are people who are so screwed up, so inverted and so needy that they can bypass the irrefutable and go straight for the hogwash that best confirms their prejudices.

I think the best punishment for someone with so little reasoning ability or empathy is to have to live his life with your broken mind.

'The U.S. Military and contractors have been trying to rebuild Iraq. If they stop the violence, the U.S. will rebuild.'

And then everything will be hunky-dory? So, let me get this straight. The new model for U.S. foreign policy is:

Do as we tell you and if you don't then we destroy your nation and rebuild it in our image and then everything is hunky-dory.

Is that it? How tidy; we can eliminate the negotiation that makes all of us U.S. puritans soiled with foreign compromises. With that strategy anything is possible. Every nation will be modeled after the U.S. in no time at all. Lets do Iran, North Korea, China, Russia, all of the African countries, a half dozen European countries, South America, etc. and then we will have a perfect world!

... me thinks your social and political conceptualization is a tad simplistic. But, that appears to be the norm these days so you fit in.

This entire situation will be a zoo with no answers. Put them to death, and they get what they want. Keep them imprisoned the rest of their lives, and the U.S. pays hundreds of thousands to do it.........so who wins? Our laws don't allow for torture, so on with the zoo!

It's interesting that a poster brought up human rights. Do you people not realize why this trial is being held in Cuba? In Cuba the trial is not under American law, but instead military law. These people will be killed no matter what the trial concludes.
