In Debt and OIL soars to $200 a barrelMay 24th, 2008 - 17:02:22

Every resident in the USA (Man, Woman and Child) to date is now in debt for
$30,818.67
that means every resident in Europe ,such as Tonny who lives in Belgium, would be in debt for 19,969.26 Euros.
(Lets call it 20,000 Euros)
and every resident in Britian would be in debt for
15,801.62 United Kingdom Pounds
(G.W.Bush, an economic Pariah, had THREE failed businesses before he became President).
The only way he can cling to power and bolster an empty economy (he's already passed the 'Point of No Return' the US having borrowed far more money from China than they can ever repay), is to attack Iran before Jan 20th (TIRANNT). WHY? . The price of crude oil could soar to 200 a barrel in as little as six months, as supply continues to struggle to meet demand, a report has warned. With benchmark US light crude passing the $122 mark for the first time, the warning comes from Goldman Sachs energy strategist Argun Murti.
'Surging demand was increasingly likely to create a 'super-spike' past $200 in six months to two years' time, he said.
Oil prices have now risen 25% in the last four months and by 400% from 2001.Mr Murti correctly predicted three years ago - when oil was about $55 a barrel - that it would pass $100, which it reached for the first time in January of this year.

Perhaps it's not time to elect Barack ObamaMay 24th, 2008 - 19:29:29

' In Debt and OIL soars to $200 a barre'

Perhaps it's not time to elect someone who proposes to INCREASE our debt load by about a trillion dollars by creating a gigantic entitlement program which will push our borrowing over our GDP.

Perhaps it's not time to elect someone who proposes to INCREASE the price of oil by turning over 80% of the worlds supply to Iran and al Qaeda by abandoning our efforts in Iraq and the gulf when we are on the verge of success.

SP4: You Deserve 200 bbl oilMay 24th, 2008 - 20:07:49

Bush has been pushing for domestic oil exploration for two full terms. He advocated and began a Hydrogen Energy iniative.

The dems?

They decry his connections with oil companies. They stifle exploration in ANWR. They tie up refining licenses for decades.

Did dems ever propose a single, workable proposal for this issue?

No.

Did they ever advocate new domestic sources of oil?

No.

Instead, they concocted some hooey about 'global warming'. Meanwhile, the clock just ticked.....they think you drive too big a car and drive too much. This is their way of having an influence on your lifestyle. They just spent 300 billion of your taxes raising your food prices for the next decade so they could get elected in farm states, and you suck their privates for it.

How do you like their plan? Me neither.

...but we are told that Bush is, somehow, responsible...

Bush has done EXACTLY what I would have done:

Nothing. If you're too stupid to advocate for more resources, then you deserve to pay more for the one's others are willing to exploit. America thinks Oil comes froma gas station. They think chickens and Beef come from a grocery store. They think bearings, chemicals, hoses, belts, and every other moving part comes from a supply house.

If you are too stupid to advocate for domestic manufacturing of..well..anything and everything...then you are just plain stupid and deserve to pay more for imported items.

And after decades of neglect of our own infrastructure...

We are.

So go get out your check book and don't cry to Bush. He has spent 7 years advocating for you and sh-theads like you spat in his eye. He believed Americans would be adults about this, and you let yourselves down. You let yourselves get here so, if I were Bush I'd wave and fly to Crawford.

Dems have spent 7 years f--king with him and this, plus Iraq, plus a low dollar is what you have to show for it.

Now, they want to lead. Best of luck.

In upper management for over 20 years and all to show for it is being hunched over a computer 24/7 berating everyone else on this site, all the time kissing Bush's butt. The economy is going down the drain faster than Bush can figure out how to spell his name. Sure he will wave to everyone as he leaves for his little old farm in Texas leaving a holy mess in his wake - no feather in his cap for sure. It's not feasible to think the oil crisis is all because no one listened to Bush's brilliant schemes to remedy the situation - it's not that simple. And as far as the American people being so stupid - guess the poster is either included in this generalization or is finally admitting foreign citizenship. The situation with the economy is getting worse by the day and the American people will be paying strict attention to the candidates on this during the next few months - the public's approval on the discussions and plans will probably be the deciding factor on who will win the election along with the plans for the end of the war in Iraq. We need new and younger ideas in the White House- does that eliminate anyone?

SP4: Well Mr. Baker, we told you so.May 25th, 2008 - 16:26:27

Now I could be a loudmouthed insulting, twerp like yourself, but fortunately, I have the facts on my side. In other words:

None of your insults make me wrong.

Bush advocated for he very things we now see your so called 'new idea' people running to as fast as they can, as if they have ever HAD an original thought. If it were not costing so much, it would be funny. Now Bush may have lied, about something, but it certainly wasn't the need for domestic energy production, was it big-shot?

Yep, OL GW just sat in LBJ's chair, got one of those salmon flavored cee gars out that Bill Clinton left for him in that special humidor under the desk, and lit up! He was exactly correct in what the most prudent course of action was for America, but he is not a very good salesman. So he just sat back and waited. After all, anyone with a brain KNEW what was going to happen...didn't we?

If Americans want politicians to quit lying, they should, first, quit lying to themselves. Go to the supermarket, the mall, work, etc. and see what folks are driving. Anything they like, it's fine with me, after all, we are conservatives, but don't come crying about gas costs, OK? Man-up and take it in the wallet.

Nonetheless, he did his part, or at least what every other President, dem and republican have done for 35 years, and even a little more. The democrats?

They bucked him at every step. They fed their environazi/trial lawyer constituancy at your expense and now, you are paying through the nose for their irresponsibility.

Personally, I hope Obama wins, so he can lie to the public about energy while doing what he does best and feed his special interest big coal. You know, he sounds a lot like Cheney to me!

Sorry, but......May 25th, 2008 - 16:47:16

you have the patent on 'loud mouth & insulting'! Most of us hope that this country will see better days ahead and aren't hoping someone gets in office just to make your point that they aren't good. The U.S. deserves better than that, and I hope the best person takes over. If it's old McCain, then so be it, if it's Obama, hopefully he will surround himself with intelligent people who only have the best interests for our country in mind, and also HOPEFULLY not as another war monger!! Now put your mind on good memories of those of your family and friends who have passed on.

Fortunately, if you read the above posts of mine, you will see that, when someone makes a cogent, reasonable argumant to my post, I am ususally polite and respectful. The man I call 'Mr. Director' was a good example. He disagreed with me and, like all informed people, we found things that we agree with.

This, unfortunatly, would not apply to Sock Puppet, ???, and Becker, etc. because of their wank-as-you-go insults and tinfoil hatted, im-mommy's-basement poetry. Go back and try to actually find something to say...

Little girls?May 26th, 2008 - 21:47:30

Little girls are sweet things, but that's probably nothing you would know about because you surely didn't procreate. It's just the fact, SP4, that you always proclaim everyone else wrong and you are right about everything - really boring, and I doubt if anyone in their right mind bothers to read the long, drawn-out essays you produce. A comment is one thing, trying to write a book or sometimes a screenplay, is another - like I said, boring to the max and taking up a lot of space. You know, even if you are right about some things, no one is going to pay much attention because of the way you go about knocking everyone else's comments and usually calling the poster a name. And as far as the economy is going - it isn't going very well for most people, and a lot of them are very nervous about their futures with so many places cutting back, laying off, etc., and we aren't just talking about little mom and pop places. You can put out all the statistics you want, but that doesn't pay the rising grocery prices for families nor the high gas prices that many pay trying to get to their jobs. It also doesn't help to proclaim the high gas prices are the result of no one listening to Bush about drilling on our own soil. That doesn't fix the immediate problem. Now, I'm sure I will lambasted to the hilt for my comments, but if it makes you feel better, go ahead - I would expect nothing less.
