'New York explosion brings back fears of September 11'

I am not afraid. I live my life in the city I love. The miserable cowards who wish to attack us are hiding in caves. Every day I continue to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in a free, prosperous country I have won and every day that they continue to live in hate, fear, frustration and resentment they have lost. They are SUCH losers.

So no, a steam pipe burst, that was all, show's over, move along.

This article is utter nonsense. I live and work in NYC, and I don't know a single person, nor have I heard a single person who has even casually remarked about 9/11 in the wake of the steam pipe explosion. Hundreds of people in my building, thousands in my office building, walking to midtown to and from work--not a word about 9/11.

This is a perfect example of the media looking to over dramatize an unfortunate news event by linking it to 9/11. How many people they must have questioned to find a few people willing to be quoted as thinking back to 9/11 just to create a story!
