Wasn't she coronated when she was 21 years old in 1945???
She succeded to the throne in 1952 on the death of her father, George VI, and was crowned in 1953. She has thus dealt with 10 British prime ministers as Sovereign, the first being Winston Churchill, and has met, I think, every one of your presidents since Ike, with the sole exception of LBJ. In addition to the UK she is queen of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, about 10 or 11 other places, and is head of the Commonwealth of Nations, comprising over fifty states with in excess of a quarter of the world's population.
Long may she continue to reign. VIVAT REGINA!
