someone warned us about the litigation culture that had started developing years ago on the back of American influence. Who, in their right minds would think that training would be required to use a ladder? Maybe it was one of those Rubiks Cube style ladders that only opened after flicking the correct combination of switches and levers in exactly the right sequence, 4 days intensive training required, a laptop computer and company car (just in case you need to travel 300 miles for a 5 day refresher training course in mezzanine maintenance: Mops and brushes; or tools 101: how to operate a screwdriver).

Maybe the school should have given the caretaker lessons in anatomy, physics and mathematics, all of which would have been required in place of an actual working brain in order to understand leverage, counterbalance, the effects of gravity and how to stand straight.

Common has finally taken a prolonged absence of leave from Sense. Feel free to sue anyone for anything.
