I'm shocked! This implies that there was a conspiracy to pervert the course of justice so I'm sure a prosecution will follow. Yeah right!
This comes as no surprise. Nobody with any common sense was fooled by the amateurish manipulation of two half photographs. As one correspondent said at the time, 'Lets see both photographs side by side'. This is, as has already been said, an attempt to pervert the course of justice.
'Making the image brighter has changed the image'
(Michael George, forensics consultant) Fairly sure George Michael could have noticed that! Where do they get these 'experts'? It has also been widely reported that Powerpoint was used, this is more than a little remarkable as I've never seen this 'feature' Microsoft has built in! When you are trying to build a police state you really do need to pay attention to detail!
So 'The Metropolitan police force is on trial accused of endangering the health and safety of the public during the shooting'
Maybe the officers were smoking when they Shot the poor fellow? Maybe they were eating?
They KILL someone and get done for health and safety!!
They could of they had the ketchup or mayonnaise on their trigger finger,
hence the health and safety part of cock and bull story
The sooner the De Menezes family take this debachle to the EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS the better.
At least they can be guarateed impartial Justice.
If they are on trial for 'endagering public health and safety' how can they be found not guilty? One of us is DEAD,how come we need a trial to work out that means we weren't safe or healthy! (being DEAD is a fair indication of UNsafe)
Mind you,
it seems safer in Britain than Canada!
'Earlier this year the Mounties in British Columbia were heavily criticized for their account of how a police officer shot and killed a young man who had been arrested in 2005 for holding an open can of beer at a sports game.'
