This is worse than China in a democratic society that the police should attack anyone who demonstrates. What a waste of money on police overtime. It looked to me has if they had allowed Chinese police freedom to attack anyone of the British Public in our Capital City. This was not unbiased policing it goes to show that the only way the police anywhere know how to do their job is by the use of crude violence against the public. To say this goes on in a democratic society with the blessing of the Prime minister is a disgrace. When are we going to get the long promised real democracy because what we live in is a farce protected by a police state. When are the police going to arrest all those people who stole public money out of the coffers. Yes the parliamentarians all of them thieves liars and corrupt. From Brown to the least important all have their dirty fingers in the pie.Has for the police they used this just to get their conviction and arrest rates high.Makes them look good, but not in my eyes!

Put your computer clocks forward an hour if you wish to be honest about the time. You could get a body hung in this country?

It is a shame that most of the photographs show the unrest of the political involvement. The Olympic ideals and sports and the spirit should have been represented equally in photographs too. I don't see any from Chinatown where we saw the relay in its beauty.

And before it is asked of me, no I am not blind and I am not necessarily an idealist. I like Balance. April 26 it will have the torch in my home and I hope our security can stop the spoiling of this non political event.
