Very good article - We will never know what really happened.
B.T.W, I'm really impressed with monstersandcritics.com new website layout. Superb work!
Wait 50 years for the facts
The truth will never come out! One BIG cover up.
someone somewere knows what really happened, but us the general public will never know the real truth.I personally believe a conspiracy plays a part, as i believe happened with Rod Hulls fatal fall whilst fixing his tv ariel a few years later.

The mystery of Diana is the mystery of her parentage. She does not resemble her father or her siblings. If DNA tests are impossible, then photographs of her mother in the year before Diana's conception should be searched for a man with a nose resembling Diana's. Suppose a young woman grew up in the household of a wealthy father whom she could not be certain was her father? Might that not set her on the road toward that Paris which has a history which includes murder of royalty? See current listings of films, The Queen, and Marie Antoinette.
I've seen no alternative scenario as to what really happened.
Was the plan for the Fiat Uno to drive the Mercedes off the road, resulting in the certain deaths of the occupants?
I'm very open minded, but haven't been presented with an alternative. The drunk driver/accident scenario works for me. Sadly it happens every day to ordinary people.
I'd love to see a similarly in-depth enquiry into 9/11.
Perhaps now we could use the 10 detectives who have wasted their time and our money to find the murderer of 5 young women in Ipswich instead of investigating ridiculous fairy tales about three people who died in a car accident partly because they were not wearing seat belts and partly because the driver was drunk and being harrassed by uncrupulous photographers.
Its time for Al Fayed to apolgise to the Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales for his allegations against them and the so-called British establishment which he used to be so keen to join.
they were going 100 miles per hour,
weren't wearing seat belts, driver was drunk.
how is that a conspiracy?
get over it.
eveyone's just gotta bring in the muslim factor these days.
The other side of the story (what i've heard anyway) is that the car that Diana arrievd in was different then the car they left in. The theory is that M16 changed the car with one that was controlled by remote control. The seatbelts were probably broken as well. Then they controlled the car from the fiat uno and slammed the car into a pillar. Not to mention there were men spotted examining the car after the crash. Read the article here...

Diana: Mystery of 12 men in the shadows
02/10/06
By John Chapman
MYSTERIOUS 'men in suits' were lurking in the tunnel where Princess Diana died in a car crash, a key witness has revealed.
The witness claims he saw a dozen people standing in the shadows seconds before her tragic death in August 1997.
Record producer Jacques Morel, 59, believes that the group, which included photographers, expected to see Diana’s Mercedes 'brought to a halt by another car.' He claims her death was a 'stunt' which went disastrously wrong.
Diana (pictured), boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed and driver Henri Paul died in the Paris tunnel when their car careered into a concrete pillar.
Morel, now living in Tunisia, says his evidence will prove vital and could provide the key to the most controversial investigation in history. He has told British detectives: 'I remember exactly what happened on the night of the crash.
'I was driving home after a Chinese meal with my wife Moufida. As we entered the Alma tunnel I saw to my left a dozen shady figures on a tiny pavement by the side of the opposite carriageway. They were standing in a long line. The sight was unforgettable. The pavement is narrow and next to fast-moving traffic. It was certainly not a sensible place to stand around.
'A few seconds later there was an almighty bang and a flash of light. I realised there had been a crash.
'My first thought was that those inside the tunnel were connected with what had happened. This thought has never left me.
'A car coming from the opposite direction had gone straight into a pillar. All of the other drivers stopped, so I did too. There was a symphony of car horns then white smoke filled the tunnel.
'I rushed to the crash scene. My mobile would not work when I tried to call emergency services.
'I was devastated when I saw the Princess in her white trousers in the back of the car. She looked so serene and peaceful but it was the end. It was one of the most heartbreaking scenes of my life. I will never forget seeing her face. Others were lying around Diana.
'I saw the white Fiat Uno being driven away by someone I later learned was James Andanson.'
Andanson, a well-known informer for the paparazzi and security services, committed suicide in mysterious circumstances three years later. His Uno has never been traced.
'Many people wanted to prove Diana was not being looked after properly,' said Mr Morel.
On the night of her death she was being minded by security guards employed by Dodi’s father, Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed. She had rejected offers from the Paris authorities to provide police or military escorts.
Morel told Scotland Yard he believes Henri Paul was involved in the plot. He had been seen chatting animatedly to photographers earlier in the evening.
'I am certain Paul was paid to drive through the Alma Tunnel where the stunt was to take place,' said Morel. 'The cash was in his pocket when he was found dead.'
Paul had more than £2,000 in cash on him. Larger sums were paid into his numerous bank accounts days before the crash.
Morel is so convinced that 'people in high authority' are trying to prevent him telling the truth that he has fled his Paris home to live with his family in an isolated North African coastal village near Tunis.
'I know too much, so that’s why I’ve come here,' said Morel. 'The only people carrying out a proper investigation are the English and they are telling me to be careful.'
Morel is to publish his theories in a book called The Witness. He said: 'It might sound speculative to say people wanted to test out the security around Diana but my ideas are based on excellent contacts.
'The paparazzi would have co-operated in anything if it involved a hugely expensive picture.'
British detectives, who say there are huge holes in the initial French inquiry, are expected to complete their report this year.
There are too many lacking certainties in or about this story. We have the certainties in terms of what the 'Lord' Stevens report states, but states lie, it's a very old 'tradition' for states to lie, as well as to be involved in perpetrating assassinations, orchestrating and aiding in coup d'etats, etc., all while always LYING about the truths in these events. Politicians lie 'their heads off'; they make all kinds of pledges during electoral campaigns, and once elected, oops, 'what, I said those things? Oh no, you (masses of) people misunderstood me. Believe me, I know what I said and meant, just that you misunderstood, or there was something wrong with your audio, or ....'. We know that FASCIM is real and that it's committed by states. We know there have been reasonable sound states that through malicious works were turned into fascist states. Etc.
'Politics is full of hypocrisy', some philosopher said some thousands of years ago, obviously having been a seriously acute observer. The theme hasn't changed; politics is as full of hypocrisy as it was back then, or, else, more-so, today.
We know that the whole GWoT is PHONY, full of hypocrisy, lies, unconstitional establishment of the Patriot Act and the Military Commissions Act, among other changes in US law, too. We know these to be real, if we are adequately informed and willing to admit reality.
Well, about the Princess Diana, Dodi Fayed, and the driver, this fatal accident they had, I've read quite a number of things that have been stated by various people, including at least one or two witnesses who spoke of secret services types of individuals in the tunnel that this accident happened in, and as of when it happened. That doesn't strike me as something some average citizen would just make up.
A little while ago, I read that it took TWO HOURS for the ambulance to get Princess Diana to the hospital, which was located only THREE miles away. A horse travels faster, a child walks this distance faster; talk about an ambulance that is in awfully poor condition. But ambulance services keep these running with top maintenance. Oh, maybe it suddenly developed four flat tires and had no spares to use, though rather very, extremely UNLIKELY.
So why would it take an ambulance two hours to travel only three miles? This wouldn't happen even in the heaviest of traffic, but let's say it was very, very heavy on the way to the hospital at that very early, wee hour of the morning. Oh, well, I guess Parisioners are quite the party folks, eh. Likely not to this extent! Even in the heaviest of traffic, an ambulance on an emergency would have all signals blowing, going, whatever, and drivers would move over at least enough for the ambulance to have space to get through. It would NOT take two hours to go only three miles.
So, what's the hold up all about, what's the cause? Certainly not an honest ambulance driver who does not have a loaded gun to his head; or is not having a heart attack while driving, but still managing to [inch] the ambulance along until it got to the hospital.
Why don't we have any official explanation for why the ambulance driver had so MUCH difficulty getting to the hospital?
OR, maybe it's not true that it took that long to get the hospital, perhaps the travel time was normal; and someone is lying about the two hours. But I suspect this information was obtained from, f.e., records of the ambulance service, or derived based on the time the ambulance arrived at the crash scene, departed it, and then arrived at the hospital. Either of those would tell us the truth about the time it took to get her to the hospital.
Maybe the ambulance driver was drunk too, like Princess Diana's driver is claimed to have been, by the states of France and Britain. I've read what appears to be some fairly credible statements or arguments on why he was not drunk, though am in no position to be able to verify. It has always struck me as very odd that the driver would've been drunk when he knew he was going to be driving, especially as chauffeur. But it's humanly possible that a driver would or might drink.
In any case, even if she and Dodi Fayed, and the driver, were murdered, and we finally obtained concrete evidence for this, then it'd take a MASSIVE revolution to get the states to rule correctly in favour of this then known truth proving the state of either Britain or France, or both, of their crime(s).
We know very well that Jean Charles de Menezes was MURDERED, cold-bloodedly murdered by British police and that the de Menezes family has not been allowed to obtain justice via UK law. We know that there is absolutely no way that Britain can justly rule that these murdering police officers are not guilty and extremely so; and that the state has so far beeing getting nothing but away with making the crime only worse. The state is now criminally complicit in this murder, in protecting KNOWN cold-blooded murdering police officers; as 'good' as being complicit in the murder itself, IMO.
How can anyone say it was merely a tragic accident. There are many unanswered questions. Tunnel lights were mysteriously turned off. The cameras in the tunnel were also off as well as the police radio system also mysteriously shut down.
The odds of these 3 events happening coincidentally 'at the same time' are impossible. It was a planned operation.
As well as this many documented witnesses (who have disappeared, by the way) claim to have seen vehicles and people acting in an unusual manner. The lethal levels of carbon monoxide in the driver's blood sample would indicate it wasn't his sample but that of another person.
The 45 minute trip to hospital passing two hospitals which were better suited to attend to the Princess's injuries, the ambulance's 10 minute stop along the way while the driver chatted on his mobile to who knows who?
Too many questions unanswered too many legitimate leads ignored.
The whole affair smells of a planned event followed by a cover up.
I'm surprised that Prince (sic) Charles allowed Princess Diana to be laid to rest with her head attached to her body; you know how the evil, corrupt despots of the English Throne have historicaly treated the peoples loved one and the threats to their squalled rule.
I am not an ugly American. I am not arrogant. Let's improve our relationships, and let's put to rest a tragedy that no one wished for.
I am not a conspiracy theorist Iam a highly qualified historian. I am not someone one prone to hero worship. I have read the whole of the Steven's report and I have found many of its conclusions that are stated so cetainly to be illogical based upon the proceeding evidence. The conclusions reached just do not derive from the evidence presented. For example the report conceeds that there was a ring and that the intention was for a proposal to be made. Yet it then concludes on the hearsay of those who were not there that there was no intention on the Princess's behalf to get engaged. This may be the case but it cannot be certain that this is the case. As regards the pregnancy the report from the doctor says that on the balance of probabilities it is highly unlikely that the Princess was pregnant, yet the doctor conceeds that the closer to conception the individual is when they die the lower the level of the pregnancy hormone. The report concludes, however, that the Princess was certainly not pregnant. I dont know whether she was or not but it certainly cant be proven it is a balance of probabilities. The report conceeds a discrepency between the number of blood samples taken fron HP and the number recorded.Yet then claims the samples are accurate. The report conceeds that Jamed Ananson was found in his car with his head detached between the front seats and a whole in his right temple. The car was burnt out yet it then concludes that this was suicide. I dont know infact whether brains explode in severe heat causing a skull rupture and that natuaral decapitation takes place causing the above but Iam not convinced of this by the report. What is certain is that at various times Diana expressed a fear for her life. In short Iam not convinced.
Further the report conceeds that there was a white Fiat Uno in contact with the mercades and that the paint from the car could have belonged to JA yet it then goes on to dismiss this as a possibility. I decided to read this report to see for myself a difinitive version of the events. I think it has been a complete waste of money. No one will ever know the truth of the events that night but I am now fairly certain that they are not as presented by the so called difinitive Steven's Report.
