Also, in the spirit of greater cultural understanding and melting barriers Rahman the
'Mozart of Madras' reminds us of another great musician, Lennon and his call to 'Imagine'. That day is a little closer today. Rahman's triumph is a global triumph, an underdog's triumph, the triumph of hope over despair and in Rahman's words the triumph of 'love over hate.' 'Jai Ho' ... ' God
is great.'
