Like other countries, if you want to make the headlines, get in front of the line.
You need to have some news to do with Oil Prices or Global Warming. Even that wont help. Sometimes some truth about Nuclear arms race by Iran makes the headlines.
And sometimes if you the top 10 political candidate running for election then you might be heard.
If you have access to email or phone you can call CNN or Fox news and tell them what the news is then they will air it. Like the CNN has iReport feature for the general public.
Red Cross ? Who ? Look when the americans do care about sri lanka, no one else will. Lets get the american government to believe there is oil or something in sri lanka, then they will send troops to wipe out LTTE and the rest of the tamils in the north for free.
Is that what you want. I am not, untill the Tamils abroad stop sending money and weapons to the LTTE no one will understand the bigger picture of the future of Tamils.
Norway is only going to give weapons to the LTTE and peace talks to the Sri Lankan Government.
this is a loosing battle.
It takes some Sinhalese civilians to die, before ICRC&co become concerned.
Where were they when hundreds of Tamils were being slaughtered just last month?
Where were they during July 1983 or November 2006?
Why was ICRC not so concerned about Sri Lankan Air Raid of Sencholai Children's Home, Kilinochchi Hospital or Chundikulam School?
This sort of selective concerns by the so called impartial umpairs only helps push the Tamil cmmunity more and more towards the Liberation Tigers
