The high price of food in Pakistan is simply because there are too many Pakistanis. The World price of food has rocketed recently simply because there are too many human beings on the planet. The bad news is that things are going to get worse and will probably never get better. The biggest crisis will be in nations that have a rapidly expanding population and are no longer self sufficient. Forget 'peak oil' and 'global warming' this is the big one.

Nice one Porky...do you think anyone noticed that 1/3rd of the planets pollinating insects have disappeared in the last 10 yrs?
