From Monsters and Critics.com US News Denver, Colorado - New doubts about the guilt of teacher John Mark Karr in the notorious 1996 murder of child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey arose Monday when a Denver TV station reported that his DNA samples did not not match the unidentified DNA found in her underwear on the scene. The report on KUSA-TV emerged just hours before Karr, 41, was due in court for a preliminary hearing in the case. KUSA also reported that the Boulder County District Attorney's office will drop the charges against Karr. Karr arrived in Boulder, Colorado Thursday after he gave himself up to police in Thailand and confessed to involvement in the killing of six-year-old Ramsey. Karr said he was with Ramsey when she died, but that her death was an accident. Family members have claimed that he was with them in Georgia or Alabama when the murder took place, while legal experts have pointed to other inconsistencies in his confession. © 2006 dpa - Deutsche Presse-Agentur© Copyright 2003 - 2005 by monstersandcritics.com.
