From Monsters and Critics.com US News Washington - Police in the US state of Indiana are searching for a man suspected of having killed seven family members spanning three generations late Thursday, according to local news reports. Desmond Turner, 28, a convicted felon released from jail in November, is considered the suspect in the killing spree, which left four adults and three children dead at a home in Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Star. The victims were husband Alberto Covarrubias, 56, wife Emma Valdez, 46, their sons Alberto, 11, and David, 8 or 9, and grandson Luis Albarran, 5, as well as two other family members, Flora Albarran, 22, and Magno Albarran, 29. Police did not offer a motive for the crime but said they did believe there was some link between Turner and the family. 'I don't think it was random. There was obviously a motivation there,' Deputy Police Chief Tim Foley said Friday morning, quoted in the Star. 'We think we know. But we really wish to not speculate until we know for sure.' © 2006 dpa - Deutsche Presse-Agentur© Copyright 2003 - 2005 by monstersandcritics.com. This notice cannot be removed without permission. |
