Bush to attend US-EU summit in Vienna

Washington - US President George W Bush will attend the US- EU summit next month in Vienna, the White House said Wednesday.

The June 21 summit will focus on nuclear non-proliferation, curtailing terrorist financing and promoting worldwide democracy.

Bush will also discuss the importance of reconstruction in Iraq, trade and energy, the White House said.

Austria holds the rotating EU presidency.
