Bush leaves on third European tour in 2005

Washington - U.S. President George W. Bush on Tuesday left for his third European tour of the year which initially will take him to Denmark.

Leaving Washington on the presidential aircraft Air Force 1, Bush will end his tour at the G8 summit in Gleneagles, Scotland, where he will travel on Wednesday.

In Copenhagen, Bush is expected to express his appreciation to the Danish government for its support of the U.S.-led war in Iraq.

Following a dinner with Queen Margrethe II on Tuesday evening, Bush is to meet with Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen on Wednesday.

Police are expecting at least 10,000 protesters against Bush's visit in Copenhagen.
