Bush will travel to the sites on September 11 to mark the event that altered the course of his presidency.
Bush will visit the World Trade Center location in New York, where al-Qaeda slammed two planes into the twin towers. Another airliner struck the Pentagon and a fourth jet crashed in a Pennsylvania field.
'There could be additional travel,' spokeswoman Dana Perino said.
