First of all, the Associated Press reporter went to the grave site and saw 7 men, no children. The fable that this was a couple and their children is drummed up to illicit sympathy for Syria and outrage towards the U.S.
Secondly, what is the United states supposed to do? The Syrian government has done little to nothing to secure its own border and shut down terrorist insurgency into Iraq. If Syria would like to be left out of the conflict then it can stop supporting terrorist organizations, harboring them, and keep its border from being so porous.
After the attacks of September 11th, the United States made itself crystal clear, 'we will go after every terrorist organization in the world that means the United States harm, and the nations that help them.' If Syria is unable or unwilling to control terrorist activity inside it's own country then the United states will have to do it for them. Period.
If they would like to show the world that they are serious about being a good citizen and neighbor, then they can demonstrate that sentiment by cracking down on hateful terrorist organizations and securing its own border.
As far as Russia's outrage, I have one word for them, 'Georgia' shut up.

..there were no civilian casualties, unless they were collaborators. How many of these stories do we get a year now...20...30?...
This is libnazi, Bolshevik media Modus Operandi: the dead are always innocents, as if Syria and their sponsored terrorists the Hizbo's and Al Qaeda have never caused an innocent death.
To these so-called 'arabs' all of their murderers are 'innocent' but it's OK to exterminate a jew, or a Christian....Hindu....Lutheran...the Irish...dogs and cats....
The problem with the Nazis was not that they hated the jews: It was because they hated everyone.
