In recent times we have seen an exponential growth of hate propaganda against Islam. People who permeate such ideology deliberately conceal, distort and misquote out of context to mislead the unsuspecting public. Under the excuse of freedom of speech such people hurt and incite hatred against others which is in direct contradiction to Article 20(2) of Human Bill or Rights, which states: Any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence shall be prohibited by law. Thus any Nation failing to respect this provision is indeed placing itself beyond the basic expectations required from civilized societies.

Christians arrests in Jordan for passing out bibleJul 8th, 2008 - 11:50:57
In Jordan there is no freedom of religion.
Over the past months and as recently as a few weeks ago several Christians have been arrested, hulled into court and some deported for telling people about their Christian faith.
This is the same court system that wants to prosecute Wilders for not respecting their religion of Islam
Is there double standards emerging on the international stage - one rule for the protection of Islam - while no other religion is given the same protection.
At the UN recently any mention of the mistreatment of women in Islamic nations, was thwarted by Islamic members - ensuring that they are allowed to continues killing and abusing apostates, children, women and non-Muslim members of their societies. But yet making a lot of noise about Islamophobia in the west - where these things don't happen.
Islam feels that it should rule the world - and so it needs to protect its image above all - as it is an important part of the vehicle for getting them there.
