A war that will last for few decadesJun 22nd, 2008 - 22:43:59

Any attack on Iran is going to draw the whole world into a war, that will see no end, at least in our lifetime. The colonial forces cannot invade Iran without losing a good number of its troops. Iran is no threat to anyone except those who attack the country. Iran has never invaded another country in the history since 6th century, nor will it now.. The whole world needs to wake up to this reality.

The oil prices will shoot up to $2000 per barrel, at the pump we will pay 70 pounds to a gallon of petrol, and imagine no petrol for days and weeks.

The world needs to stop the war between Iran and Israel.

the price of oil couldnt possibly reach 2000 a barrel, cause no one would by it at that price. No need to invade Iran, just destroy its infastuture and amputate its leadership. The Iraq war was won, but it became a control and patrol war, which never can be won. Let the dimwit radicals kill each other in Iraq while the US sits back up north or in isolated no go kill zones in a more Isolated part of Iraq. Once the Price of oil hits a certain point, and it allready is, there will be a huge surge in alternative energy transport(ie fully eclectric viecles). The Oil will once again be relegated to a base comodity and not one thats a needed comodity.

Iran should prepare but not be intimidated by the possibility of an attack by Israel. In fact, Iran should take this alleged attack situation as a warning to beef up its military and get nuclear bombs to counterbalance those of Israel. An Iran with nuclear bombs is less likely to be attacked, and able to defend itself against any enemy.

I see hypocrisy on part of the US and some European countries. Here Israel is threatening to bomb a UN member country and these countries support it. If it was the other way around by now Iran would have been invaded by these countries. For the past few months, how many times did bush and his gang members threaten Iran with military action. The best part is bush and his gang members are crying wolf when IAEA(Which these countries are members of) time and time again is saying there is no evidence that Iran is after nuclear bomb. The only reason why US is behaving like this is that US cannot see a country in the middle east to have an independent policy. In this part of the world there is no such thing like country,i call them satellite states of US and some European countries. Now only Iran and Syria are left after Iraq was brought into these satellite states..... Give it a thought.

present regime in Iran is a disgraceJun 23rd, 2008 - 05:03:46

This regime and its clueless clerics have acted badly and will soon be punished by Allah.

Said clerics have neither the skills nor the brains to manage a moderately busy McDonalds restaurant, much less a nation.

The attack upon the n-facilities will be as easy as shooting quail on the ground.

All the n-facilities will be reduced to smoking rubble.

It will be intersting to see the demise of Israel which will result from this stupid idea of attacking Iran. I am hopeful that Isreal will not go for this stupid option and will seek a way of living with a military power like itself. Previously, the Soviets and American found a way of accomodation which resulted in a detente! I am sure there will be one with Iran with or without its nuclear project. If Iran has the werewithal to go nuclear under the NPT, surely they have the right to pursue their dream and are supported by the international community. Having a nuclear weapon is a stupid idea becuase where are you gonna use it? The Isrealis must use their brains to think and no their blood. They should also know that for their survival their stupid backers in the US must learn to accommodate the Iranians.

Surely we do not want to see bloodshed in the Middle East but if they want it, let them go ahead. the previous years where they used to walk oever the countries of the Middle East are over: that is the current reality. Accommodation of your enemy is the way to go! We just want peace!

The consequences of destroying Iran's natanz nuke facilty maybe
oil going up to $150 a barrow.
That's not to bad of a price to pay.

Iran is sponsoring Three proxy wars right now.
One in Iraq
One in Lebanon
and one Palestine
and now they'll take on a fourth proxy war.

Iran will have four wars to contend with.
Four wars!

I say pull the trigger.
Bomb the snot out of Natanz!

It's a gimme.
They got no more game left
except long lines of unemployment
to contend with at home.

Clearly those Westerners who believe Iran has the right to possess nuclear weapons are traitors to the West. Their idiot liberal mentality is reminiscent of Chamberlain's Nazi asslicking, which emboldened Germany into invading large parts of Europe starting with the Reinland. Iran must either cooperate fully with the West, or face annihalation. Incidentally, compromise with muslims is not possible, I know because I was raised as a muslim, although I am half European. If only you knew what, not some, but all of them say when the mikes and cameras are turned off, you would also understand that in Islam, compromise is blasphemy-how can you compromise with what you believe to be direct orders from God himself, in His own spoken words? You are traitors to your countries, to your children, to your families and to our Western values of freedom and democracy. You should first educate yourselves, and then apologize for your naivete and your arrogant stupidity. There is nothing worse than stupid, middle class, comfortable, socialist morons, preaching that even the most evil and barbaric regimes on the planet have a right to power-THEY DO NOT.

Small Arms—they cause 90% of civilian casualties

* There are around half a billion military small arms around the world
* Some 300,000 to half a million people around the world are killed by them each year
* They are the major cause of civilian casualties in modern conflicts

'... While international attention is focused on the need to control weapons of mass destruction, the trade in conventional weapons continues to operate in a legal and moral vacuum... '

'... The five permanent members of the UN Security Council—France, Russia, China, the UK, and the USA—together account for 88 per cent of the world’s conventional arms exports; and these exports contribute regularly to gross abuses of human rights... '

SO HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A SELF-RIGHTEOUS IMPERIAL BULLY? It feels good... specially when there are so many of you with subnormal intelligence believe in our 'spreading freedom' bullshits and rationalize those nonsense with 'logic'.

Attacking Iran is a huge mistake. Already the US economy is going down hill, a third US war (four if we count israel's war on Palestine funded by US tax payers) will send us off to a depression. This is not the days of WWII - these wars are not being funded by US productivity, they are funded through borrowed money, mostly by China.

We don't need to start another war. I few nicely placed nukes will do the job - with minimal cost to the U.S.

We should have developed a policy of nuking a country every ten years to remind peoples around the world not to mess with the us, started with North Vietnam.
