I thought all Jews had a 'right of return' to Israel. How then can the Ministry of the Interior deny him entry, when they let in Meyer Lansky, the noted Mafia financier? And isn't this the same Interior Ministry that has declared US Reformed and Conservative Jews to not be real Jews, rejecting their marriages and conversions?
It'll be interesting to see if he just orbits Gaza in mid-air until the Palestinians stop building suicide vests long enough to build an airstrip to let him land. Thankfully, he has an infinite supply of hot air to keep himself aloft.
Rory, you neocon fool, the Palestinians already built an airport in Gaza. It was called Yasser Arafat International.
Guess who blew it to pieces?
Wow! Dr. F. has long been criticized as commenting on Israel without actually having been there (though he has been to the occupied territories). Now that he is addressing that, he's locked out. That says to me that his arguments are quite persuasive. Can't have a truth-teller running around unrestricted.
Sheesh!
Norman finkelstein is a rabid enemy of Israel and the Jewish people. He claims to be Jewish, which isn't necessarily true, and he uses it as an excuse to spew the most vile, exaggerated, anti-israel garbage in the world.
Finkelstein is the 'favorite Jew' of every neo-nazi website in the world. That tells you exactly why Israel is smart to not let in psycho crazy enemies like Finkelstein.
Do you let crazy enemies of yours into your home? Of course not. Neither should Israel.
Every anti-Israel radical islamic supremacist and every kkk and nazi member loves Finkelstein. That tells you exactly why Israel doesn't want him in.
Finkelstein can go hang out his friends and allies like hamas and the president of iran
To August West: Every country has the right to keep an enemy out, and Finkelstein, as every neo-nazi website will tell you, is certainly an enemy. Because he exaggerates, twists, omits facts he doesn't like, and spins everything against israel and jews, and is on the side of holocaust-deniers and nutcases
Hey LanceThruster: Why does finkelstein need to go to israel? His hamas and neo-nazi and radical islamic supremecist friends have already fed him info for years. He's apparently an 'expert' on the place, or so every israel-hating loon says. He should just go hang out with hamas. THey can have tea together
Also, why do media outlets write that Finkelstein is 'jewish and the son of holocaust survivors?' How do media outlets know that to be true? Everything finkelstein has ever done indicates he's against everything jewish on earth

Norman Finkelstaein is a person Israel and AIPAC especially want to silence. He has the academic credentials to back the exposure of a pro- Israel media blitz. It is a 'public relations' movement, or propaganda by any other name that is shaping the minds of the American people in regards to unconditional American support of Israel no matter what international laws are broken or human rights violated. Norman Finkelstein is a brave voice in a field of sheep. His books are accepted for their high academic value and some are among the few un-biased texts scholars go to when studying the middle east.
The denial to allow him entry to Israel is more of a vindication of his work than a slander to it. It is a perfect example of what he writes about in text book detail and in discussions with Uber- Zionist Alan Dershowitz. Check out what Mr. Finkelstein has to say, a voice which is silenced in America too, and a voice America should hear.
