Deal may not be good for the West but is good for the Lebanese people, as it should be. Hezbollah has been able to keep Lebanon from being occupied by the Israelis and that's a good thing. Maybe now there will be less meddling in the affairs of Lebanon by the West and Israel.

Reality sinks in and the effects are for all to see. The deal will be spun as good from both sides. The US state department will say they welcome the deal, knowing full well this is the same welcome they afford to Pakistan dealing with Taliban. Hezbollah with a veto in cabinet effectively ensures they remain intact and able to strengthen. Syria can ensure that US can't blackmail it further with the Hariri trial. Simply the US leverage they once held with Lebanese are now the weakest. Having the navy parked outside the lebanese waters aint the same as getting tangiable political gains, one needs brains not just muscle!!!
