Of course this fair&balanced 'article' fails to mention what were the reasons for the seizure. Informed people with an 'education' can fill in the blanks - 'because Hezbolah hates freedom'... 'because they are evil'...
it could be in retaliation for the government wanting to close down the Hezbollah telecommunications network... the government isn't always right either. its probably better to have had longer discussions than shorter ones to avoid resorting to violence, or civil rights deprivation. i think a lot of problems are caused by people expecting change within their lifetime and finding that people issues aren't so simple to make progress on compared to technology... we set our expectations far too high and in our vanity assume it has to be accomplished before we die, but the reality is, it has to happen in someone's lifetime, and hopefully we just get to play a part.
WHAT THIS COUNTRY SHOULD DO IS HIRE 15 OR 20 THOUSAND MERC'S TO DO AWAY WITH HEZBOLLAH THE OLD FASHION WAY,KILL THEM ALL...

Dictates of the unjust will prove to be enslaving. Freedom of the press is tough on human rights violators, so tough, they have to get out the big guns to silence them.
