Jimmy Carter's passport should be revoked, preferably while he is out of the country.
Actually, peanut head broke the law and should be arrested. Just as it is illegal to do business with Cuba (I won't get into the validity of the issue), it is illegal to provide support and comfort to terrorist groups like Hamas. Since peanut head met with and kowtowed to terrorsits, he should be arrested, shackled and sent to Gitmo.
It will be declared a success.
What can it hurt?
He cant negotiate
Should he stick his head in the sand like the Bush group?
He believes we must talk to our enemies
If we get their point of view we can fight them more intelligently
Former President Jimmy Carter is an honorable and religious man just trying to do the right thing. I commend him for his courage and sense of justice. I am glad Mr. Carter is meeting with Hamas and giving legitimacy to the group. Hamas is not a terrorist organization, but a group of Palestinians fighting for the survival of their people and trying to hold onto their land against the apartheid, murderous, terrorist, State of Israel which is the worlds 4th most powerful country.
Israeli Jews are annihilating the Palestinian people for their land, and trying to persuade the world to shun Hamas because Hamas is the only group resisting Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people and land stealing. Israel has a short term goal to expand the borders of Israel to include all of Palestine, and a long term goal to include Egypy, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan in its borders. Israeli Jews are europeans with ambition and goals similar to those of Hitler.
Mr. Carter's visit with Hamas should pave the way for other world leaders to break the yoke of the US and Israel, and negotiate with Hamas who is a better leader for the Palestinians than Abbas. Hamas will not be a puppet for the US and Israel as Abbas and deceive the Palestinian people by continuing to chase a phony peace process. Hamas should be given a chance regardless of whether he is a terrorist, since Israel practices state terrorism and most of the Israeli leaders have history of committing terrorist acts.
...ask yourself this:
Why is Carter doing this???
He could have done this for any of the last four years.
Why now?
Why in an election year???
Why didn't he do it when Clinton was in office??? The issues still existed. Hamas was still a terrorist organization.
Why???
Politics.
Having someone like Carter flat-hatting across the countryside, acting as some kind of representative of the US undermines the elected government, whether you happen to like the current elected government or not.
Your Constitution says that the Seceratary of State is supposed to have this job, and they report to the President.
So, in conclusion, it's a sh-tty idea to let just anyone go 'talk' to someone like this.

Former President Jimmy Carter is a dis-honorable and self rightous man just trying to get the in media thing. I condem him for his lack of courage and his terrible sense of justice. Obama and his left wing supporters are glad Mr. Carter is meeting with Hamas and giving legitimacy to the group. Hamas is a terrorist organization, its a group of Palestinians terrorizing people and trying to seize Isreali land creating apartheid, murderous, terrorist, wannabe State of Palaestine which is not even recognized by the.
Israeli Jews are supporting and feeding the Palestinian people. The Isrealies have tried to work out differences only to be attacked for their land. The world has shunned Hamas treeorists because Hamas is one of terror group supported by Iran's tactics and genocide of the Isreali people. Israel has a short term goal to expand thethe humanity of the world beyond borders of Israel to include all of Palestine, and a long term goal to keep supporting legitimate goverments; Egypy, Lebanon, and Jordan in its borders. Israeli Jews are truelly humanitarians with ambition and goals similar to those of Christ, Bhudda, and Ghandi.
Mr. Carter's visit with Hamas should pave the way for other world leaders to dis-own the idiot, and the world will see that to negotiate with Hamas who is will onlt hurt the Palestinians. Hamas is a puppet for the Iran and Syrial as their terrorist leader who hides in Syria and deceives the Palestinian people by continuing to defeat a peace process. Hamas should be driven into its grave especially because it is an anti human terrorist organization. History has proved this over and over and over.
SP4 Why is Carter doing this???
He could have done this for any of the last four years.
Why now?
Why in an election year??
sayPure politics you ?
Or is it dirty tricks?
Something the Republicans know a lot about
Try this as a start to only scratch the surface
2000: Bush debate material is sent to Gore's campaign in an effort to make it appear as if Gore is spying on Bush. Bush's cousin calls race for Bush on Faux, leading other networks to follow suit, prematurely. Thousands of Florida voters are wiped from the voting rolls by Bush's brother's administration.
2004: A group financially bankrolled by Bush money men run ads smearing the military record of Kerry. An apparently inauthentic version of Bush's national guard documents is used to sandbag CBS in an effort to both distract attention from the substance of the story and make it appear as if the Kerry campaign is engaged in dirty tricks
And on and on.......
US presidential hopeful Senator Hillary Clinton has said that she would consider entering limited talks with Hamas should Israel be interested in such a move. In a telephone interview with commentators in the Jewish media, the Democratic candidate described Hamas and Hizbullah as constituting an existential threat on Israel, but said she would consider such limited talks if elected president Hillary's caveat is 'should Israel be interested in such a move', which was put in to not create the impression that she would be undermining U S policy, so as not to be accused of doing so. Carter has no such restraints, and is drawing a contrast to his and her thoughts and opinions, as opposed to the GWB policy, when she said 'It was a mistake for the Bush administration to take a hands-off approach to the Arab-Israeli conflict. Israel is more vulnerable today that it was eight years ago,' So call it politics, dirty tricks, differences of opinions etc.
It's also called freedom of speech, and not be construed to be unpatriotic Pure politics you say?
As Cheney would say ' and so?'
marge is a pali skank-ape living on western welfare.
And your a fool.
