It is ironic and amusing that the last two posts consisted of 100% ad hominem attacks with no relation to thread whatsoever - yet they were accusing others of ad hominem attacks?!? Awesome!
I see no problem with throwing in the occasional 'idiot' or 'dumbass' to spice things up, but please keep at least half your post on topic.
Regarding the informative post before that, I can see why these jokers didn't respond. They can't dispute objective facts - and are incapable of reasonably discussing subjective matters as well.
I will readily admit that the US is not perfect. But trying to somehow compare the truly mind numbing hatred and propaganda coming from Iran and its frenzied mobs (ditto neighboring arab states), with anything coming out of the US is just crazy. If I am wrong someone please show me! Don't just say I'm wrong and insult me. Show me.
If the US can be faulted, its because we are too god damned nice and we can't even begin to imagine the virulent religion inspired hatred that causes people to go on violent rampages and slice off each others heads (don't forget electric drills, car-b-ques, and embassy burning).
They will get nuclear weapons and eventually they will be used and the targeted country will retaliate and the problem of global warming will be solved (drastically reduced population burns less fossil fuel, and dust blocks solar radiation). I suppose every cloud has a silver lining.
