'If I were you, I would not attempt to have an intelligent converstion[sic] with SP4, Charles or Noawareness[sic]. '
Why would ether of you start now? In order to have an intelligent conversation you have to have some intelligence. Anyone who thinks it is a good idea for the theocratic, despotic, totalitarian and yes, evil mullahs who rule Iran to have a doomsday device is clearly a moron.
The trouble with Darwinism in a democracy is that idiots like you now the capacity to bring destruction not only on yourselves but also on useful humans with triple digit IQ's who are leading productive lives. It would be one thing if the Iranian revolutionary guard just killed the useful idiots when they nuke a western city but you are going to take some non-wastes of human lives with you.
This deal has been underway for a long time, and was bound to happen. The White House, in their state of reverie, keeps believing that they have influence in this matter. The timing stinks, because it comes on the heels of the NIE report, making it more difficult to get Russian and Chinese support for greater sanctions. The second nuclear plant is also old news, dating back to 1979 proposals that were set aside.
Here's the fog that Bush and his advisers exist in - Johndroe's point is valid in the abstract, but the Iranians have no reason to change course right now:
www.nytimes.com/2007/12/18/world/middleeast/18diplo.html?ref=world
'Publicly, the White House took a different tack. “There is no doubt that Russia and the rest of the world want to keep Iran from getting a nuclear weapon,” said a White House spokesman, Gordon D. Johndroe. “And today’s announcement provides one more avenue for the Iranians to make a strategic choice to suspend enrichment.”
But privately, administration officials said that they had been hoping, with dwindling confidence, that Russia would continue to stall on delivering the fuel, in part to send a message to Iran that the United States and its European, Chinese and Russian allies were hanging tough in their attempts to punish Iran for refusing to suspend enrichment.
“We for many years tried to stop it, and for the last year we’ve known there was no way to stop it, and that it was coming, and we held our breath on the timing,” a senior administration official said.'
This poster:'None of the above' is, in all likelyhood, our dearly beloved Charles. It is slightly more in his style than Nohatness. But I think you can see what sort of primitive being he is. Do you see the avoidance, the non-sequiturs, the diversion, the slanging and the outright fecal matter? It is quite obvious that his shoe size is greater than his IQ. His triple digit IQ, most likely, is after the decimal point, not before it.
bush is in with this guy .
you can bet your ass we will have world war 3 just so bush can stay in office.
'This poster:'None of the above' is, in all likelyhood[sic], our dearly beloved Charles'
Nope, wrong again idiot.
'Do you see the avoidance'
Notice how this moron doesn't address the point of the article or takes a stand on whether or not Iran should be receiving plutonium from Russia...yet yammers on about 'avoidance'.
'What's all the excitement?'
Nuclear war in the middle east...gee, go figure.
'This deal has been underway for a long time, and was bound to happen.'
Well that makes it OK then. A smart move....
Tsk, tsk. Such petulance. Definitely not a mature person, is he?
'Tsk, tsk. Such petulance. Definitely not a mature person, is he?'
So much for:
'intelligent converstion[sic]', 'independent thought' and avoiding 'non-sequiturs' and 'side trips' that 'have nothing to do with the topic'...
You wallow in your 'avoidance', 'diversion' and your inability to engage in 'intelligent discourse'... You trot out such playground vintage, golden oldies as: 'It is quite obvious that his shoe size is greater than his IQ' yet you call someone else immature.
Too bad you are too stupid to appreciate the irony. Thanks for contributing nothing... as expected.
You can complain all you want, but Iran WILL get nuclear weapons. It's inevitable. And once you realize that they will not export them to terrorists, you'll look like fools.
Why would Iran, if it produces nuclear weapons, give them to terrorists? You know how much resources go into even one nuclear bomb? Decades of research. They're not going to just idiotically give/sell it to Hezbollah (for example) and tell them, 'go use it on Israel'.
If that's what you think, then you're honestly a novice in terms of international politics and warfare. Go read some books and the history of nuclear weapons, and then come back to re-state your arguments again.
If Iran does have a nuclear weapons program (which we still don't have evidence of yet), then it is building it for two reasons: one is for deterrence against Israel and America. A threat of attack, especially after 9/11, is high against Iran. We can see that America and Israel have no qualms about attacking Middle Eastern countries for the tiniest of reasons, so Iran is obviously a big fat juicy target. Nuclear weapons will make them think twice before attacking. Second, it is to promote prestige in the Middle East. With nuclear weapons, you can bully other nations, much like America and other nuclear weapon countries are doing.
So please, if you're going to use the Iran-selling-nukes-to-terrorists argument, think again. Pakistan hasn't done it, despite Pakistan having a long history of ties (through it's spy agency ISI or the Inter Services Intelligence) to Al-Qaida and fundamentalist Kashmiri terrorists. Has Pakistan sold nuclear weapons to them? No. Why? As I've stated above, too much has gone into producing these weapons. It's not worth it to just sell them or give them away like candy.
Think about it. If you acquired a very highly priced painting (let's say worth $100 million dollars) after an intensive 30 year search for it, will you allow your friends and neighbours to just grab it and take it home with them? Chances are you'll jealously guard it in your own home. You may show it off, but you won't just give it to anyone just because he/she is your friend. You put your time and money to look for this thing, so you're not just going to give it out or sell it immediately.
Ding Ding!! End of game and apparently Iran is winner once again, Gosh,
It seems Iran alwayes win, It should be something related to genes or DNA or etc. but this win will boost iran security and status for next two hundered years. Isreali, arabs and other Iran enemies faces would be funny to look. US and Isreal want to go to war for 100 kg enriched uranium that Iran has before today delivery but now in first delivery Iran has 82 tons enriched uranium. what a shame for G,Wacker Bush junior our today don kishot warior. Congratulation to all Iranian for such great
victory. Thank Russia for they support Iran nation against these bunch of
westren murderous monsters.

The poster, 'You still haven't addressed the topic, idiot,' enjoys talking to itself in front of a mirror.
Get lost funny clown. I can understand it is so painfull.
If you weren't so self-absorbed, you would have seen that the comment was not for you. But, seeing as how you think your words are important, I can see how you would think that any comment was aimed at you. So, bugger off, funny clown, right back to that sand castle that you call home.
Al right then Peace.
I think you are a frethinker and very rational but you are a victim of propaganda concerning your statement:
'So please, if you're going to use the Iran-selling-nukes-to-terrorists argument, think again. Pakistan hasn't done it, despite Pakistan having a long history of ties (through it's spy agency ISI or the Inter Services Intelligence) to Al-Qaida...'
The only reason such a sale or gift has not taken place is because Al-Quaida does not exist! it is a creation of the CIA and has proven very useful to usurp freedom and liberty in America and is a convenient scapegoat for terrorist activities worldwide by israel and the CIA.
If you remember the hoohas, guffaws and roaring laughter at the last osama tape where it was pointed out he is now dyeind his gray beard or using Grecian Formula 16 it explains why osaner last communication was an audio tape and statements by
AL-KAYDER' are now given by unseen underlings.
You cannot sell or give anything to something that does not exist.
Yes,with all the resources available it is easy to make a nuclear weapon but the only hindrance would be the enrichment process. But which is more cost effective? If wanting gold, is it cheaper to mine by oneself and process or pay the market price (over $800.00/.oz now)? The price fluctuates and the sky is the limit. Once I am adept at my refinig process I can mine all the gold at the same cost as it will not rise while the price of gold can reach astronomical heights. It is more cost-efficient to understand the refing process.
But you are totally wrong here: 'Iran had secret nuclear programs for decades. They didn't tell the US - they didn't tell the IAEA.'
You can read about your error here:
Too Funny: U.S. built major Iranian nuclear facility

This was dome for the shah Reza Pahlavi while oil was what,$1.00/barrel and Iran awash in oil? The U.S. has egg on its face, Ha! Ha! The yolks on us Iran has had a nuclear program for decades, open for inspection at any time. The only one calling it a 'weapons' program is israel and its bush regime puppets. This is all pure speculation, but speculation is somewhat based on facts. What we have here is a paranoid psychosis not based on any fact but a demented want to war.
If you notice, the rhetoric did not explode until Ahmadinejad made hie supposed 'wipe israel off the map' speech. For one thing he did not say that as his words were twisted and he was quoting the words of ayatollah khomeini; those were not his words.

The US and Iran cooperated on nuclear programs as far back as late 50's. I am referring to Natanz and Arak. These are very significant facilities that were not disclosed, but rather revealed/leaked by internal opposition groups. Because of this lack of honesty on behalf of Iran, we have no idea of knowing what else they have chosen not to disclose. If Iran had perfectly legal intentions with these facilities, why would it hide them?
We aren't talking about grandma's secret strawberry rhubarb pie recipe here. Enrichment capability is very tightly regulated.
I agree that proliferation cannot be stopped. I also think that it will increase in speed. But any thinking person must agree that the more countries that have nuclear weapons capability, the more likely it is that something bad will happen. With nuclear weapons, there are no 'do overs.'
Theocracies and dictatorships chock full of religious zealots who are ready to destroy themselves to kill their ideological enemies with the added benefit of instant paradise - is a worrisome combination. This is especially the case when the 'state' sponsors and promotes this type of zealotry.
Admitting this will not make you turn into a pumpkin and it doesn't mean you have to like GWB.
PS -
'If you notice, the rhetoric did not explode until Ahmadinejad made hie supposed 'wipe israel off the map' speech.'
I guess you don't notice much. But you must admit that his colorful use of language might be alarming to some who are sensitive about having themselves wiped out/off/etc.
Why is it that muslim people expect to get a pass when the chant 'death to...'???
Why do liberals give them a pass?
CHARLES
you used the word ( SUPPOSED ) to describe what Armadinigen was alleged to have said in a speach, IE: Wiping Israel off the map. If you had read the translation by Emminent Israely writers you would come to realise that the phrase attributed to him was a complete fabrication of the truth.
