To Ahmadinejad this is a PR ploy.

We have no benefit whatsoever in letting him do his thing. It is not going to lead to international dialogue - not during the Bush Administration anyways.

The victims of 9/11 do deserve prayers from everyone because God does not hate anyone. So if he feels so inclined then he should just do his praying in private.

I have a suggestion for him: if he feels so badly about such tragedies, why doesn't he start with visiting the Nazi death camps first.

'I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.'

Does no one understand this anymore?

I dont care what you think or believe about Iran or their leader. I dont care if you're right or wrong.

If we are a CIVILIZED nation, if we truly believe in FREEDOM OF SPEECH, then LET THE MAN SPEAK.

What are you all so afraid of?

I have no love of the Iranian dictatorship. I'd just as soon see him, Bush, Shimon Peres, Hugo Chavez, and both Bill and Hillary Clinton all get hit by a bus. Not a one of them is worth the air they consume.

But either we shoot first and ask questions later, or we ask questions first and shoot later. Which is it? What kind of country is this now? Is conflict so ingrained in our psyche that we can no longer behave as civilized people?

I dont care what barbarous acts Ahmadinejad is guilty of. Civil discourse is the antithesis of barbarism. And if Columbia wants to lend THEIR podium and THEIR mic and THEIR auditorium on THEIR property with THEIR staff on THEIR dime to let this or any man or woman speak, who are any of you to tell Columbia U what they can and should do with their property? It's THEIRS, not yours.

This is what America has become? You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

Let the man speak. Let his own words condemn him - or are you afraid that your own pre-conceived hatred to which you cling so fondly, might itself be undermined?

If Ron Paul were president, we wouldnt have these problems.

Zionist shills working over time here, and as ever the peanut brained 'chosen ones' are filling the board with nonsense.

liveleak is evidently the place to find stuff out, Fox don't work any more, so start a propaganda site, pumping out the same line with more movies, and less talking too, cuz those visiting there can't read, can't think, and are proud of it too.

These days everyone is a terrorist, anyone who does not agree with the current batch of putrid warmongers, is a terrorist.

Then there is 'democracy' to fawn about, funny that those living in a fascist state, and behaving like 'good Germans' talk so much about 'democracy'. Fact that AIPAC (Israeli agents of influence) has stuffed the capitol hill with their bought out goons, and US foreign policy is contracted out to Tel Aviv, only proves the 'democratic' credentials of the bottom feeding keyboard bashing fascio turning up here and there to write the usual drivel.

If 9/11 families want to meet the President of Iran, it is their choice, and theirs alone. So far as the rest of the shills here, and elsewhere are concerned, it is none of their business.

PS Iran is a lot more democratic, then any of the so called 'democracy' lovin, breathin, thinkin advertisers around the globe. Iranians voting from the age of sixteen, and fifteen for men, and women respectively, at least are certain that whomever they vote for, they get, and certainly do not allow AIPAC buying out their 'peoples representatives' to represent it.

I can't believe that they allow this monkey to enter the country it's just wrong. The monkey preached how to kill American and wipe Israel. This monkey arrested 4 American Citizens and treated like POW. If those arrested preached the same they'll be hang, cut-up in pieces, or blowing them up... 'ONLY IN AMERICA'.

Iran had nothing to do with what happened on 911. Most of the hijackers came from S. Arab. No one raises their eyes when any Saudi Official comes. Why then when a leader from a nation that has no involvement in terror attacks in the US, comes to visit the UN, does everybody start to scream. The President of Iran has even written letter to the American people that he does not hate them and they are peaceful people. The problem lies with the American administration. Do you ever hear of Suicide bombing in Iran? Look at the Arab countries they have all this problem, because the government there is corrupt and can not control its people. Also, there is vast difference between what the Iranian believe and what the terrorist believe. Most of the terrorist believe in the 'salafism' or 'wahabism'. This is the basis of all terrorism. Once the Muslim world rids of these people, there will be no problem.

The fear is that Iran is increasingly in control of itself. It controls it's resource. They are even able to make some of their own defense weapons. They have good stable government. More women serve in the Iranian parliament than in the US. The Iranian regime even had its first women Vice President unlike the US. where there is not one. So all this stability and self-reliability scares the west. So the American Public has to be brain washed before 'operation ________' begins in Iran.

Reading the posts, I'm both saddened and optimistic.

I'm saddened by the individuals that post their comments who think they are in-the-know. Yet, they do not know much at all. In fact, some have difficulty with the English language which, begs the question, how enlightened and intellectual are they really?

Iranians and their government are not as fundamentalist as some would have you believe. However, they are not secular as we are here. Despite, their alleged fundamentalism, Iran has the secnd largest population of Jews in the middle-east. Second only to Israel. If they were truly fundamentalists, wouldn't Jews be expelled, or at the very least, want to leave? Yet, they haven't been expelled, and have not fled in Exodus. Don't believe me? Check it out for yourselves.

With respect to the issue of cultural differences, I'd like to know what cultural differences some of you speak so knowingly of, and how many of you have actually been to Iran as I have, twice? Is it the cultural difference of providing for your families without the meddling of strangers? Exactly which cultural differences do you speak of?

People everywhere want to work, raise families, have a roof over their heads, eat, practice their spirituality and be at peace with their neighbors. We are all human - one species that spread over the millenia out of Africa. Most of us get along until the dogma of the State or the Church divides us, pits us against one another, and causes the human suffering we have witnessed too many times throughout history. Lately the largest purveyors of human suffering have been the United States and its red-headed step-child, Israel.

Here are some questions for the people that think Iran is such a pariah nation; the nation that freed the Jews under Cyrus the Great and rebuilt their temple in Jerusalem during the Persian empire, fought with the Jews side-by-side when the Christians were killing Jews during the Crusades, and have been gracious hosts when they lived in Diaspora.

Which country in the middle-east has continually attacked its neighbors? It certainly is not Iran. Which country directly and overtly provides economic and military support for the the aggressive war-mongering state that wage endless war against its neighbors? Again, not Iran. Perhaps an argument can be made about support to the Palestinians, whose land was stolen from them through murder and terror, but that's a pretty weak argument.

I know it must be difficult for some of you to face your own demons, but once you do, a period of enlightenment will begin.

The blind support some of you have for genocide and corruption is utterly amazing. Especially, when you are merely pawns for the war-mongering Zionists who want to enslave humanity.

Study history, study the scriptures - all of them. What you'll find is that Islam is closer to true Christian teaching than Judaism will ever be. To Moslems, Jesus is a favored prophet, and Mary is essentially a Saint. Conversely, in Judaism, Jesus is not considered a prophet, but a despised rabble-rouser and his angelic mother, Mary, is considered a whore. Read it for yourselves in the Talmud.

The fact that the press, television, and film industries in the land-of-the-free are completely controlled and dominated by Jewish people, top-to-bottom is an irrefutable fact. Try reading the credits next time instead of making a trip to the fridge for another can of cheap beer. Look at who the CEO's of these industry companies are. Some are dual-citizens.

Hell, some of the members of Congress hold dual-citizenship with Israel. How can an individual serve two masters?

Look at the espionage perpetrated by Israelis through their spy networks the AIPAC, the JDL, the ADL, the AEI, JINSA, and so many others. Jonathan Pollard, Richard Perle, Wolfowitz, and others have undermined this country. For those of you who are so concerned about our country, you better start doing some homework yourselves instead of relying on Fox news and other propaganda tools for your information.

Unfortunately, many of the simpletons in our society that proclaim to be 'experts' on such matters are of mediocre intellect at best and most are just plain lazy and won't read at all. Ignorance is not bliss.

Get off you lazy, beer-swilling pornography-obsessed collective rear-ends and become the patriots you think you are, but are not. Read the US Constitution, the Federalist Papers, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence for starters. Then try to reconcile what is going on in this country with those sacred writs.

You can't because what is happening now in our country is changing the very fabric of our nation that great men before us provided with their blood. Instead some of you would rather watch distractions like Brittany Spears, OJ Simpson, Lindsay Lohan and other trivialities instead of tackling the tougher issues facing our once great country.

I don't feel sorry for you - the ignorant masses. You are what you want to be - that's free will. Sometimes you do more damage to yourselves than any contrived enemy could ever do. Hopefully, social Darwinism will eventually weed out such ignorance. Until then, get back to watching the game on television, monitoring who is screwing who, and surfing the Internet for your next fix of porn and leave the more important issues to people qualified to comment and engage in intelligent discussion.

I'm optimistic because some of the individuals that have posted are cognizant of the incessant lying hurled at them daily through repetitive loops on Fox, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, and the local news, among other sources. These brave and rare-breed of men and women see through the smoke and mirrors and ask the big questions. They are the independent and critical thinkers that ask such questions as who benefited from 911? They are the true patriots and can righteously call themselves Americans. The rest of you are posers.

Any worthy detective will follow the money trail, the paper trail and of course the painfully obvious - who benefits? Have you all sked these questions in your own minds? Probably not, because you are not investigators trained to ask such basic questions. Those who are investogators searching for the truth, know that we are being fed a constant diet of lies and refuse to take the bait. The rest of you, well - fish on!!

Educate yourelves - it will save you from yourselves.

Wake up, Iran is evil.Sep 22nd, 2007 - 22:18:24

Since 1979, Iranians or Iranian funded and controlled terrorist groups have; invaded the US embassy and held our diplomatic staff for 444 days, took American journalists and a British minister hostage in Lebanon, killing William Buckley, bombed the US embassy in Lebanon killing 17 Americans, bombed the US barracks Beirut which killed 241 Americans on a peacekeeping mission, bombed the Khobar Towers killing 19 Americans, hijacked an aircraft and killed Robert Stethem and dumped his body on the tarmac, bombed a Jewish center in Argentina, killing 85, their proxy Hezbollah has started several conflicts with Israel, including the one last summer which left hundreds dead. They still have a bounty on the head of Salmon Rushdie for writing a book that they didn’t like, they have provided the Shiite death squads in Iraq with training and material as well as the Sunni death squads that go after the Shiites with the objective of creating as much bloodshed in Iraq as passable. They have also been supplying shaped charges and shoulder launched anti-aircraft missiles to kill coalition troops. They Chant 'death to America' on a daily basis in their schools and Mosques, they continually threaten to wipe Israel off the map, they have mined the Strait of Hormuz, they publicly lynch girls for being 'disobedient', they publicly lynch boys for being homosexual, they publicly lash women for the crime of being raped, they stone women to death for infidelity, they censor their news, They beat a Canadian journalist to death because she wrote unflattering stories, they murder political dissidents, invented the suicide bomber, kidnapped British sailors and holding them hostage, kidnapping American aid workers and holding them hostage...ect, ect....

They are a country that actually STONES people to death, for 'crimes' like infidelity. Thank God France has joined the list of countries that are willing to stand up against this perversion, this despicable regieme that is Iran.

9/11 Commission Finds Ties Between al-Qaeda and Iran
Friday, Jul. 16, 2004 By ADAM ZAGORIN AND JOE KLEIN

Next week's much anticipated final report by a bipartisan commission on the origins of the 9/11 attacks will contain new evidence of contacts between al-Qaeda and Iran—just weeks after the Administration has come under fire for overstating its claims of contacts between al-Qaeda and Saddam Hussein's Iraq.

A senior U.S. official told TIME that the Commission has uncovered evidence suggesting that between eight and ten of the 14 'muscle' hijackers—that is, those involved in gaining control of the four 9/11 aircraft and subduing the crew and passengers—passed through Iran in the period from October 2000 to February 2001. Sources also tell TIME that Commission investigators found that Iran had a history of allowing al-Qaeda members to enter and exit Iran across the Afghan border. This practice dated back to October 2000, with Iranian officials issuing specific instructions to their border guards—in some cases not to put stamps in the passports of al-Qaeda personnel—and otherwise not harass them and to facilitate their travel across the frontier. The report does not, however, offer evidence that Iran was aware of the plans for the 9/11 attacks.

The senior official also told TIME that the report will note that Iranian officials approached the al-Qaeda leadership after the bombing of the USS Cole and proposed a collaborative relationship in future attacks on the U.S., but the offer was turned down by bin Laden because he did not want to alienate his supporters in Saudi Arabia.

The Iran-al Qaeda contacts were discovered and presented to the Commissioners near the end of the bipartisan panel's more than year-long investigation into the sources and origins of the 9/11 attacks. Much of the new information about Iran came from al-Qaeda detainees interrogated by the U.S. government, including captured Yemeni al-Qaeda operative Waleed Mohammed bin Attash, who organized the October 2000 attack on the USS Cole, and from as many as 100 separate electronic intelligence intercepts culled by analysts at the NSA. The findings were sent to the White House for review only this week. But Commission members have been hinting for weeks that their report would have some Iran surprises. As the 9/11 Commission's chairman, Thomas Kean, said in June, 'We believe....that there were a lot more active contacts, frankly, with Iran and with Pakistan than there were with Iraq.'

Gee, you sound real smart. Your arguments follow a linear logical progression and your words make complete sense too...

So do you want to tell me how these videos are propaganda? this happens on the streets of Iran on a regular basis. In the year 20007 human beings are being buried up to their wastes and hit with rocks in the head for having sex outside of marriage in Iran. Or men (boys actually) are lynched for being homosexual. You had one girl, Atefah Sahaaleh was publicly lynched for being 'disobedient'.

Yet some idiots, and make no mistake, you are an idiot want to defend this disgusting regime. Here, let me rub your stupid nose in it:

From an AFP article on a military parade today in Tehran:

'The parade was marked by a litany of slogans calling for 'Death to America' and 'Death to Israel.' Western military attaches, apparently warned of this in advance, boycotted the rally for the second year running.

'Israel should be eliminated' and 'No Iranian Muslim, no Muslim recognises Israel,' were among the slogans borne on the back of military vehicles, quoting the words of Iran's revolutionary founder Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

'Israel has to be wiped off the map,' read another Khomeini quote which aroused worldwide controversy when it was repeated by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in 2005.

Evidently aggression, and insults are stock in trade, for you Zionist.

Those videos you are attributing to the streets of Iran, could have been taken anywhere, and further, stoning to death is also found in Bible prescribed for unruly children disobeying their parents.

So far as homosexuality is concerned, in US they are not getting any better treatment either, and getting shot and lynched is part of their routine. However, what is overlooked, by the Zionists, and their shills, and fully discounted is the fact that Iran is the only country in the world that has set aside funds for those wishing to go through transgender operations. ie those wishing to change their sexual gender, can do so at no cost to themselves, and it is afforded to them.

Now if your moronic attempts in propaganda are not succeeding your anger ought to be directed at yourself, and not anyone else. Liveleak, is a failure, and it is reflected in the vile comments of its audience, as well as the selective 'leaks', which was further corroborated, in a BBC news cast, as a site that British MOD leave material on it.

So if you don't succeed with Fox, then crap out the internet, by setting up propaganda sites, to get people watching the same drivel. On goes the logic of the insane, and mentally lame.
