Arab League sees Bush initiative as having "positive elements"

Cairo - Arab League of Nations Secretary General Amru Musa on Tuesday described United States President George W Bush's call for an international conference on Middle East peace as having 'positive elements.' Bush's speech, Musa said, reflected that the United States was convinced by the stand the Arab World had adopted for more than one year now, which was based on moving towards a fair peace that is capable of persisting. Meanwhile, Egypt's Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit also said the US suggestion included positive elements that should be clung on to. Abul-Gheit explained a Palestinian state could not just be established through ending the Israeli occupation, but also by removing the settlements founded on the Palestinian lands. He added that the Palestinian territories as they were back in 1967 should be at the core of the negotiations. In a telephone conversation Tuesday, Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz emphasized towards Bush that 'Arabs had adopted an initiative calling on peace with Israel' in exchange for Israel's withdrawal from the lands it occupied in 1967. In a White House address aimed at bolstering Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas over his rivals in the radical Hamas group, Bush had suggested Monday the convening of an international conference in autumn to re-launch peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians. He said that US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice would chair the meeting and that the attendance would be confined to states that back the establishment of a Palestinian state. © 2007 dpa - Deutsche Presse-Agentur

How can U.S/Israel lecture others on human rights?
Palestinian concentration Camps operated by Israel with American tax dollars is there any wonder why they are so detested.

and the camps were created by Arabs for their brothers, the palestinians, Israel had no part in their creation.
