Don't you know we have come to liberate you! First we will use bombs to destroy buildings so they are un-inhabitable, and storm-troopers to kill persons who offer us the opportunity to do combat. Then we will take control of all of your resources, and even sell them to pay for our expenses. Next we will build vast military bases to shelter our occupying armies, and vast prisons to put the belligerent citizens behing bars. Then we will build big walls around the hovels where you still live, complete with barbed wire on top, and kindly name this area a 'gated community' just for you. Don't you know we have come only to liberate you!
Gated communities!!! I can not believe that such idiots are running the iraq war. I think Iraq will look like the occupied Gaza and West Bank soon. Cities and villages walled off and a maze of checkpoints.

First off -- George, You should not be allowed to live in the U.S. since you have such a low opinion of it. Walls have never worked. Great Wall of China. East/West Germany. They have never worked. C'Mon, walls don't even work in strategy games like AOE. They only delay the inevitable. I don't understand how we haven't learned from the past. The great wall of china didn't even work - and THAT is a great wall.

If anyone wants to get a better view of the Iraq war watch Alpha Company on Sunday nights on the Military channel. A narrator fallows the soldiears around for 7 months with a video camera. Its a great show in my opinion.
Second, American soldiers dont cause much trouble in Iraq. Carfully read the news...99% of any deaths are cause by local people form car bombs or bomb strapped to themselves. Every single one of those bombs are set off without the concern of harming their own people. If they did care, they wouln't walk into restaurants and blow them up...

Steve, I find you funny. You have George, makes a comment about his views on the war and how it's being mishandled.. (Which, by the way, 59% of the country agrees with) and he makes a comment about how building a wall is a bad thing, and instead of just explaining why he's wrong... you ask him to leave the country? I mean, maybe the reason Iraq isn't accepting democracy is because it's full of people like you. People who, instead of embracing an opportunity for discussion and debate, your first reaction is to ask him to leave your country, metaphorically building a wall between you and him. I mean, maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that debate was one of the best things about America.
Can you imagine if no one debated the idea of slavery. If everyone just accepted slavery as being okay, and anyone who disagreed left the country? America would be a much different place. Maybe you would enjoy that kind of country, but I think most Americans would agree that if their was no form of debate in this country, it would completly fall apart.
