That is spelled 'patchouli', pal....

Frankly the list of mistakes, friendly fire kills of our own troops, their troops and police, the civilians, etc really underscores the larger mistake of being there to begin with.

Who needs Iraq anyway? Besides US business interests, anyway.... You can't tell me that a c student, dui/cocaine user, a guy who tanked every business he ever touched and never did a selfless act in his entire life is concerned about the welfare of the Iraqi people... we were there because Cheney and Dubya, PNAC, RNC, etc thought it would be profitable. And it wasn't. Pure and simple, the motivation was money. If it wasn't we would have troops in a lot of the rotten areas of the world.

And we wouldn't have secret prisons and Guantanamo becuase they sidestep due process and legal rights and values that we not only hold dear but offer to the world as an example of how to govern. We wouldn't abduct foriegn nationals off the street, under false pretences in some instances. We wouldn't be scrapping every aspect of our constitution and bill of rights to empower or obfuscate the bad decisions by our leaders as well as the intelligence and law enforcement community at the cost of the very freedoms we claim to be fighting for.... Our president and his henchmen would be available for testimony under oath when asked to do so by our elected representatives and would provide documentation when called upon...
