In the following sentence: 'The munitions were dropped by Israel during its 33-day offensive against the Lebanese Hezbollah movement which ended on August 14, 2006.', I believe the word you wanted was 'defensive' not 'offensive' - the sentence should read 'The munitions were dropped by Israel during its 33-day defensive against the Lebanese Hezbollah [terrorist] movement which ended on August 14, 2006.'
If Hezbollah, like the other corrupt, power-mad, and cowardly terrorist 'movements' of the Middle East, continues to place itself in the middle of residential areas in order to hide behind women and children - and if the residents and the governments of these areas allow the terrorists to do so - and if their followers encourage the continuous bombardment of northern Israeli settlements - eventually Israel will rise and defend itself - and old women and children will die.
Israel's IDF should be called by its real name, the IOF - Israel Offensive Force, or Israel Occupation Force. Israel is BY FAR the greatest terrorist on the face of the globe.
This was an offensive by IDF, not defensive. Its very simple. They were waiting for the opportunity to attack. How do you think they mobilized all of their forces within a matter of hours? Too bad this offenisive was not successful, and in fact deterimental to Israel, innocent Lebanese and Israeli civilians and or course Lebanon.
Put your money where your mouth is, moron -- give us some details of Israel's alleged 'terrorist' activities - you know, activities like sending people of limited intelligence into happy family events to blow themselves up, or into markets, or restaurants, or buses where innocents are blown to bits by 'suicide bombers'- or, how about, shoving a little old Jewish man in a wheelchair off a cruise ship to drown - Geez! the list is endless, eh?
Arab terorists ride into villages in Dharfur and savagely murder all the men and boys but take a little time out for some rape and torture of women and girls who they then drag back to their camps to use as sex slaves - all in the name of purifying the country of the black African blood of their fellow Muslims - oh, and incidently taking their land along the way.
And what is the Muslim dominated UN doing to stop this??? Why, nothing...they are too busy drafting yet more resolutions against Israel, one of the tiniest countries in the world, while the black people of Dharfur die by the thousands and the world sits back and watches.
Now the Israeli's, on the other hand, flew into Africa, rescued thousands of black Ethiopean Jews (the Beta Israel) and flew them away to Israel and freedom --- in fact, the Israeli's have rescued almost a million Jews from Muslim countries in the Middle East and Africa - many of these had lived in these countries for a thousand or more years. After 1948, however, their lands and goods were confiscated and the people persecuted. The Israelis have always showed themselves to be both brave and loyal to their people - what a contrast to the Arabs!!!! But I digress...back to terrorist attacks by Muslims.
How about: terrorists blowing up discos filled with young people having fun; terrorists blowing up trains filled with commuters in Spain; terrorists blowing up subways and buses in London; and the really, really impressive blow-ups: the twin towers of the World Trade Centre (approx. 3,000); the innocent passengers on the planes that caused the towers to collapse; and Muslim terrorists in Iraq who currently favour parking a car with orphaned street children in back so as to lull the suspicions of soldiers and then (this is my favourite part) get out of the car themselves, leaving the children inside, and then blow the car up. Wow! I'm impressed!!!! It takes a real man to blow up orphans in the name of Allah! Sort of like the real men of Hezbollah who place their headquarters, arms, and armaments in the middle of residential districts, fire rockets at Israelis, and then boo hoo over the deaths of 'innocent civilians[??}' who are killed when the Israelis defend themselves.
Give me a break!!!! Try thinking for yourself instead of spouting Arab propoganda that might be amusing if it weren't for the people like you who swallow it whole. All of the above is supported by empirical evidence - if you reply (with examples of Israeli 'terrorism) you might do us all the courtesy of supplying the same sort of information - no unsupported 'the holocaust never happened' - type crap - in fact, it might be a good idea if you actually researched the meaning of terrorism and terrorist. Israel the biggest terrorist on the globe? Wake up and smell the coffee, junior!!!!
By the way, FYI - Israel occupied the West Bank after the 1967 war which was initiated by Egypt, Jordan, and Syria with Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Algeria contributing troops and arms to their fronts. Too bad they lost.

Sorry but it was defensive -- for those of you that don't know what that word means I'll will try to make it a bit plainer.
When your people [Israelis] are constantly attacked [from the Lebanese border] by terrorists [Hezbollah] with rockets, you [the government of Israel] have not only a right, but an obligation to defend them. That's why it's defensive, not offensive - go it?
Perhaps, Hezbollah might like to look at its obligation to the people of Lebanon in whose midst they have settled themselves. Oh, I forgot - those people are all martyrs - whether they choose to be, or not.

I would love to say round them up, put them in boxcars, and ship them off to the camps where they belong. But that would be a tad tacky. Just nuke the cancer and rid us once and for all of this unspeakable evil.
