The Iranian President should appeal ditectly to the American and European people through perhaps newspapers inthe west by buying the space in such publications. He should explain to the ordinary people that the opposition to Iranian nuclear issue has is orchasterated by the Isreali iterests and Zeolats in the US(AIPAC) and europe ,why? Because the atomic Isreal can only continue getting away wipping large areas of her neighbours off the map and imprison thousands of Arabs for long periods of time by threat of an atomic bomb of which Isreal posses more than 200.
one day he says United nations is useless and he doesn't care. Another day he says he will appear personally before UNSC.
Funny fellow. Someday he will lead his country to a nuclear war with Israel and boom - there will no palestine to fight for since when Iran nukes israel, a lot of palestnians and lebanese will also die , besides, Tehran will be decimated by Israel as a response.
Next war in middle east will be fought with rocks.
'The Iranian President should appeal ditectly[sic] to the American and European people through perhaps newspapers inthe[sic] west by buying the space in such publications.'
And say what? 'Death to the great Satan'? Death to the Christians and Jews? Illuminate how he is going to wipe Israel off the map? Threaten to start another war in Lebanon? Threaten to continue supporting the death squads in Iraq? Threaten to be continue speaking for the totalitarian, unelected theocratic dictators that continue to run Iran and make it the worlds #1 state sponsor of terrorism? Threaten to continue developing nuclear weapons to bring about the return of the hidden imam?
We have heard it and seen it since 1979. This guy is nuts, and he represents his country well.
Don't let that son of a bitch dirty dog bastard in this country. If he comes here he should leave in a body bag.If it was not against the law i would love to kill him myself, dam laws......
Let's face it. This is one of those situations where there really isn't much anyone outside Iran can cure. We should try to contain this situation until the Iranians wake up and see what their government is doing to them.
American politicians, some of them at least, are already having an 'anti-war' field day over what is now going on in Iraq. NATO is only just barely able to maintain a grip on order in Afghanistan. An invasion of Iran will create yet another situation in which the invading ground forces will be obliged to stay for a long period of time and they most definitely will not be welcomed with palm fronds and flowers. The Iranians are sick of dictated to by foreigners and will put readily tolerate one of their own as dictator so long as they think foreigners will try to take over their country again.
There is another problem. Neither Russia nor China wants the US in Iran and the US certainly does not want Russia or China in Iran. Too many resources are at stake. Iran is one of the most resource rich places on earth. Not just in terms of oil, but in terms of copper and other minerals. Everyone would much rather trade with the Iranians than have the country become the prize in three-way hatchet fight.
I think it would pay for us to wait and see if cooler, more stable heads will eventually prevail in Iran. Let this guy come to New York and reveal himself for what he is. There are still a great many diplomatic measures that can be taken that would build internal pressure in Iran.
