You can't cover your face in European countries, or in America. It's not safe nowadays, it never was. Freedom of religion does not supercede safety, or the law. And since when do others have to conform to, and respect you? You don't conform to, or respect others. Muslims are nothing but a bunch of backwards hate mongers, who think that the whole world should be to their liking. It's just too hard to be evolved and tolerant of the differences of others, isn't it? They disgust me. And what is this liberation garbage? The women who claim they cover themselves out of freedom of choice are lying in order to win the favor of their husbands and families. They're lying to the free countries in order to cover their fear of what will happen to them if they don't bow down like slaves. Poor creatures. I wish the middle east and their oppressive double standards would just go away.
The Muslims must live like animals as the the degenrated west does copy lower animals in their living, so should the Muslims. The western degenerates think that technological advance means development.

whoever wrote this article is biased. Muslim women are not less then equal to men, they are equal, just have different roles. Also there is hijab modest clothing for men and they are required to dress in hijab (modesty), but unfortuantely in American they are more casual and don't follow this.
Look up a website that tells the truth about islam and yo will see the truth.
Women are independent individuals, as exemplified by the fact that all human beings will be accountable for their own intentions and deeds on the Day of Judgment when 'no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being' (82:19) If men were ultimately responsibile for women (fathers for their daughters, husbands for their wives, etc.), then this accountability would be solely on men's shoulders to bear until the Day of Judgment. But this is not the case: 'And whatever wrong any human being commits rests upon himself alone; and no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden...' (6:165)
Leaving aside th issue of Islamin or not, if the government wants to really show seculaism then they should impose a uniform in schools. Then rich can't flaunt their expensive clothes. Equality? why not take away money from Rich and distribute equal? If you can't then shut up and let the market decide what is best. Or declare openly in immigration application forms that if anyone want s to come to a western country then they have to abide by these rules. At least there won't be ambiguity.

Why not a veil for the men to keep their chastity in the Islamic world.
What is often seen in the west - is Islamic men is jeans and shirt - while their women tag behind in full Islamic garb.
Naturally the pressure to wear the veil and not only the veil but specially the 'black' veil is great. There is no doubt some competition here to show that you are more Islamic than the next person.
In Europe we have seen - almost every Islamic cultural group change from wearing their traditional clothing to the black veil and gown commonly worn in the Middle East. The Pakistani and Bangladeshi women used to wear bright colours - along with the Hindu and Seikh women - where you could hardly tell them apart. The Somali women used to wear the nomadic mix of coloured robes and head covering from that region. This would be preferred - but now we see every Muslim woman in a uniform of all black headscarf and dress or veil, headscarf and dress - which is common to the Middle East.
This stark change has happened over the last few years - and it shows you that something has happened. A few years ago I visited an Islamic website - where they were encouraging the women to wear this more extreme Islamic dress - in order to collectively tell the western world that - that they object to their western lifestyle. Yet they continue to live in the west and reap the benefits from this.
In Islam - the women accepts her lower status - take for example for this article everyone who spoke for Islam was a male. If you wish to stand in front of a class of western girls advertising that it is OK to be half human - or half the worth of a man - and if that is not the direction that we want our girls to go in - then in our countries we have the right to tell Muslim women - that certain things are not allowed. Beliefs such as these should be personal.
The more we learn about Islam - and the worth of a woman - outside of the home and indeed in the home - for example things like virginity tied to worth - as she is often traded in marriage - we should protect our young from this. We want to produce Hillary Clintons - for the most part (politics aside), and Condoleezza Rices.
We don't want to produce the wife of the King of Saudi Arabia who we have never seen.
So sorry - Islamist form the Middle East - try giving your Christians equal rights.
