I am very interested. However bothered that these possible People are being cited as animals, monsters, etc. It is more than likely that if they are indeed out there, they are most likely a tribe of mankind, that never left their homes for what we call 'civilization' Having your entire body covered in hair is not an unknown or entirely uncommon genetic difference.

More than anything i would love to meet them, form communication, and learn their geneological, and tribal history - how absolutely fascinating!

It is much more likely that this is a story to bring in much needed tourism revenue into the country.

This text is meant to be informative, and not criticizing in any way. I feel like there's some confusion out there about the so called sasquatch. First, there's sightings of human or ape like creatures from many parts of the world. People has many names for these creatures, but I think it's important to understand that most likely they belong to different species. That means that the bigfoot from the U.S is probably not the same animal as the yeti in asia. It's neither very likely to think they are humans, even though it's possible to have genetic mutation that causes more facial and body hair. There is room for many variations of apes, or humans if you will. Through the last 400 000 years homo sapiens has come in many forms. Like homo sapiens neanderthalensis (the neanderthal), that lived side by side with us (homo sapiens sapiens) til about 30 000 years ago. The neanderthal had a brain that was slightly bigger then ours in fact. Their extra brain size was probably a result of larger muscles though, and therefore does not mean that they were smarter then us. Some might argue the fact that the neanderthal could be anything like a human, but archeologists have found proof that they made necklaces and tools, as well as burying their dead.
My point is that between ape and homo sapiens there is/was many species. Some of wich fit the descriptions of a yeti. So most likely these sightings are from different species that we thought to be extinct, or it may even be more recently evolved species. Like the picture taken of a big chimpanzee-looking creature in the woods of africa. The creature is estimated to be 200 cm, or almost 7 feet tall. The creature has been spotted several times, and was caught on a surveillance camera by chance. Future expeditions will reveal if this is the chimpanzee evolved, or older species yet to be discovered. That life is so diverse, makes it even more exiting in my opinion.
